Granted it was the end of crawfish season (close to fathers day) but they said they still had live crawfish available @ 1.75 a pound. I purchased a sack purged and boiled. There were a few dead that rose to the surface but all looked good. After boiling we sat to eat and discovered one after another were rotten and black through and through. I guess they were so dead they sank during the purge. I ended up throwing away more than half. I called to express my frustration and the manager confirmed that she had recieved several calls about the same thing, but that they had to recover from the cost they had bought them for. So they knowingly sold bad crawfish at a priemum price to recover the money they bought them for from there supplier...Shame Shame! That is bad business if ya ask me. I live for crawfish season and should have known better, it being so late in the season. If this was the last place on earth to ever sell crawfish again my corn and potatoes would still taste fantastic!

We went here about a month ago while visiting family that lives in the area. They had never been and suggested we all try it together. The staff was very friendly and super attentive, despite the fact that the restaurant was pretty busy. From the hostess to the bus boy, everyone was courteous and asked if they could get us anything and how everything was. The guys ordered a big tower of beer (not sure what its called here) and there was a problem with the spout, we had two guys come remove it almost immediately and bring a second one out with a working spout. The food was great and we ordered a variety from plain old burgers to the seafood theyre known for. The prices were reasonable as well. You pay for what you get, its not fast food. I read some of the other reviews and it definitely sounds like things have changed since the renovation. We ALL enjoyed the experience, we had three children with us, AND were Mexican Americans. Cant imagine having an unpleasant experience here.

Horrible if I could give zero I would have!! Lets see, our shrimp in the shrimp & grits had shells on them. When we told them they took the plate, when we get the plate back, we find that its the exact same plate. So that means someone for lack of better word fished out or dug out the shrimp cleaned it and put it back. Seriously! We said something and they sent a manager out who took the plate and gave us our ticket. So I guess we just did not need to eat! This is after our appetizer came out with no plates for us to eat in, and my fork was stuck to the bag and I mean seriously stuck like we had to pull and ripped the bag to rip it off the fork. And this is not even to mention the fact that while we waited we saw an employee lift her shirt and scratch her belly, nice & classy! I will Never step foot back into one of their locations Ever again

We had a horrible experience, we live like 4 blocks away. We used to go here often, but we have been noticing Help Wanted on their outside sign way more than usual. Just as you get to know a waiter, tip well, get good service. Either they quit or have to be let go. Tonight we went over, the waiter did not know our drink order was on menu, then after 10 min. finally brought us our drinks. Thirty minutes later, he comes and says "our cooks said they are only working on the big tables, so your food will be after those to tables". I asked then Manager should comp us drinks, while we have to wait extra long. The owner/manager came out and addressed the white patrons next to us. Ignored us all together. We will never go back. And we have spent thousands of dollars here, but we have seen it go downhill.

SERVICES HORRIBLE !! The waiter (ID 2300/Sarah) wasnt attentive and her behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. We asked her for a knife. It took like 10 minutes to bring a knife and we received a dirty knife with spots of oil on it which were delivered to us not on a small plat or even through a napkin, but just with hand. The waiter didn’t bring any souses on our table. The story ended up with payment. When we asked her (Sarah) for check, we received a check not in check holder or on a small plate but in hand. She put check and customer copy on our table which was wet on surface. Prices were also high for what they offer. Their service, quality and price were horrible! Never again!

My family and I ate here about a week ago for the first time and the experience was just weird to say the least. The food was alright but definitely wasnt worth their insanely high prices. For me, my fiancé and our daughter to eat here it was $85 and all that we ordered was an appetizer, 2 entrees and a kids meal. I also got 1 beer and she got a mixed drink that was somehow $15. Plus they add an automatic gratuity to your bill. Our Waitress was unprofessional and rude and she spoke to us like we were the last thing she cared about. I would expect those prices at someplace more classy. But come on now, this is a mom&pop seafood joint in the middle of spring.

I didnt HATE it, I have had the fried crawfish here several times, just this time it looked like half a plate & at $15.99 I was thinking about a meal instead of a munchie... what a ripoff on the grub, sure glad my honey shared his shrimp - which was totally awesome and piled high on the plate, looking like a feast lol I love this place but that looked like a happy meal instead of an adult entrée - on a good note, it was tasty & their Pistolettes are totally awesome!!! GO TO THE ONE ON 1960 aka Champions, instead of here...

First time to this location, the crawfish queso did not look as good as pictures I had seen, but it tasted great. Had this and 2 lb of crawfish that was tasty and very large, one of them looked like a lobster damn near. Also had a few fancy cocktails that were tasty and well made. Worth a visit for sure, the service was great and the food was tasty. The only negative was the queso was not as pletiful or attractive as I had seen, but nonetheless tasty.

our go to seafood place! past 5 birthdays this is where I go...and other times of course . Loved the dungeness crab until it went up on the price, but as with all things market reflects the price, cant fault the restaurant for that. We love the boudin balls, and their roasted oysters are wonderful! Not a fan of the fried rice served with the grilled plates Its rather bland. Otherwise everything else is great, service has always been great.

My familys absolute favorite place to eat. A little pricey compared to some other seafood places weve been. They totally make up for it in portions and quality though. Having finally tried the crawfish, I must agree with the other reviews that the crawfish is not great there. Under seasoned and just not appetizing. Everthing else Ive had there is really great. One of the few places weve found that carry Gator. We eat here at least once a week.
