Since it was my first time here and Im aware every restaurant is different. I asked the waiter how do they serve their crab. The waiter condescendingly said that I would receive 8 large legs. Which means two clusters so I proceeded to place my order. Even enjoyed an awesome glass of wine while I waited. I shouldve ended my experience at the wine. Once my food came my 11 year old daughter pointed out "those arent large crabs!" I had one average sized cluster and six small crab legs/ pieces. Which was more the i was originally told. The small crab was so over cooked it was ridiculously hard to get the meat out. I brought this to my waiters attention. It was so hard to get the meat out i couldnt even get a reasnable sized chunk of meat to dip in the butter. When I got to the average sized crab it was prepared totally different! The meat came out perfect and it tasted amazing. I brought this to the waiter attention as well. He aggred there was a huge difference. So I asked for the manager who confirmed the crab was smaller then it should be and the most he could do is take $10 off my $80 tab. So fast forward two days later i came back to talk to the owner about my meal and he basically said there was nothing he could do and that night the kitchen was closed so they arent going to cook my food over again. I told him I never wrote reviews but I was going to make sure everyday knew how horrible my experience was.He replied "do whatever you have to do." Never going back worst customer service ever! Its a shame because the food was actually not that bad I had crawfish for an appetizer and my daughter had Cajun pasta. She loved her food if only they actually showed concern for the ill prepared crab this review wouldnt even exist. *Update* Sorry for the misinformation she had crawfish etouffee and since you are the owner you should be aware of the situation considering when the situation happened the manager called you to see how to handle it and you said there was nothing you could do. And her meal was not the problem so it further goes to show you dont care you did not address the real issue your focus was on trying to divert the attention to me using the wrong name of her meal and trying to put it off on another restaurant. I can see the picture and the address of your restaurant while writing the review. You didnt even try to see how you could correct the situation. So just like your manager told me you dont care. Clearly. So no I will not remove my post because this is the right restaurant!

We decided to try this local eatery based, in large part, on the Yelp reviews. Sadly, we wont be going back. The ONLY positive to this place was the friendly waitstaff. We sat outside on the patio and about 10 minutes into the experience we were each sniffing each other to decide if one of us was the source of the horrendous fishy trash smell that wafted past every few minutes. It was nauseating. On this particular Thursday evening, we waited 45 MINUTES for our food. Luckily we had at least opted to pay $2 for the 4 pieces of garlic bread to hold over my 2 year old son during the insanely long wait. Our server was friendly through it all, but a manager never came by to address the problem. My husband ordered the JUMBO grilled shrimp. Needless to say they were anything but jumbo. 7 kebob-size shrimp, a cup of over-steamed veggies and a baked potato (with an upcharge, of course) for $17. Yikes. While we were paying, we asked for a manager. We honestly just wanted to be friendly and let them know about the smell issue. She thanked us for telling her. And that was IT. No asking us how it was; no apology for the ridiculous wait; no offer to comp any part of the meal. I was shocked. AFTER we paid, the owner/manager came out and sniffed a few times, said he didnt smell anything, and even if we did smell something, it wasnt anything that was his fault. He said next time sit inside. (Seriously, that was his response). He said if we had bad service that wasnt his fault either because his help is all young kids making $2.50 an hour. We asked him if the food issues were his fault and he said yes, that was in his area. So my husband proceeded to tell him about the "mislabeled" shrimp and an under-cooked baked potato. He ARGUED with my husband about the shrimp and potato. He never once asked what he could do to earn our return business -- so he wont. Extremely disappointed.

UPDATE: We decided to go for a second time on Saturday April 23rd at 845pm. see if the things improved. We had a fabulous server (Santiago) whom was top notch. Oysters were of course the staple -- awesome. My wife had a grilled fish sandwich which was not good nor were the French fries (obviously frozen kind you would buy at Cosco). I sure hope they improve since the location is great. Scary on a Saturday the place was empty at 845pm We went last Thursday April 14th at 630pm. There were open tables so not too crowded. We were seated promptly at the table near the server booth. The sun was blinding. Management need to install a sun shade since several tables as the sun continued to set were blinded. The service was horrible...from the beginning to end. The two waiters were openly deciding who was going to get to service our table. The food came out at all times. I received mine and my kids received theirs in 5 to 10 minute increments. My daughters rice was ice cold with warm shrimp on it. I mentioned to waiter that he tell the manager how unhappy we were. The waiter said they were having problems in the kitchen. The last entree finally came out delivered by the manager. Instead of the manager presenting to the table she called for the waiter to come it. It is sad since the location is great the oysters awesome but service and management needs to learn about restaurant 101. I checked with others in gleannloch farms and they had similar experience. I hope they impr o ve the service.

Met one of my closest friends, who I dont get to see very often, for a glass of wine and dinner. We sat at the bar, our bartender, Levi, was extremely knowledgeable about their wine selections as well as cocktails. My friend and I ended up splitting a dozen oysters, which were awesome!!!!! Chatted over an hour before we realized that we needed to order our meal. Being Taco Tuesday, she had one of their great tacos (I think popcorn shrimp or fish, cant remember), but she loved it. I had the Rockin Poppin Shrimp, they were delicious!!!!! We ended our night by indulging in one of Levis fantastic Chocolate Martinis. Best time, will definitely be back. Thank you Levi for making our little reunion so special!!!!!
