I love this chain, but not this location specifically. I showed up at 9:40, knowing they close at 10. I know that doesnt make me everyones favorite person, but im significantly within business hours. It was either this or McDonalds/jack in the box. Id like to thing Pollo is the better option when it comes to fast food. I walked 10 mins from a hotel to get here. Im travelling out of town for work with no vehicle. When I arrive The doors were locked. The guy working the drive thru window watched me try to open the door, making eye contact with me. Instead of motioning to me that they may be closed, which they well werent. He literally walks away out of my sight. There is also a cashier watching me try to enter another door. The reason I tried a second door is because There were 4 customers inside! They were at the ordering counter, either waiting for their food or thinking about what they want. The cashier just stares at me as I try to enter. This eye contact ends up being about 30 seconds too long because Im waiting for him to at least signal something or communicate or even acknowledge me in some way. He doesnt, he just stares at me with this smug look like im some kind of dumbass. His eyes basically telling me "Whatre you doing you idiot". I couldnt believe it was happening, it was so bizarre that a stood there for another 10 seconds making sure I wasnt missing anything. I walked 10 minutes back to my hotel without dinner and here I am. I also want to note that even though it may have nothing to do with it, All the customers and employees were black. It felt uncomforable not being let in and also being the only white person. did they umployees really let all those other customers in, lock the door behind them, and not let me in? I noticed all the customers came from the same car, because their driver was still in the car, with the car running; waiting for them to return with the food. In other words they havent been there long.

I desperately want to give a high rating because the food itself is quite good! However, the service is horrifyingly bad. Beyond bad! They have a captive drive-tru with a curb so its impossible to get out after placing your order.... Which is necessary if you want to keep people waiting for 45 ENTIRE MINUTES for a single burrito. I was told at the speaker that they would give me my total at the window, when I arrived at the window over 30 minutes later (behind only 3 cars) it was clear my order hadnt even been entered into the system! But he already had my card in hand so I couldnt just leave at that point. All of this adds up to MORE WAITING. I was asked to pull up (into an unsuitable area, given the design of the parking lot) to wait. And I waited. And waited.... 10 minutes later I was forced to park my car and go inside to confront the situation. It was unfortunate. This was the first time it resulted in this long a wait and ultimately having to be confrontational, but it was NOT the first time Ive had to wait longer than is acceptable for terrible service. I tried to give it a pass the first time and try again, but then this happened. Its not even worth talking about how delicious the food is because no one should be tempted to walk into the situation here for any reason. Its so upsetting. Id love to give business to a place that serves great food in my neighborhood, but I cant support a business that its operated this poorly. Please get it together, Pollo Loco! I wanna love you!

Drive thru experience was horrible. I was not greeted upon arriving at window. Santavias had a very unpleasant and rude attitude. I was not informed of wait time for food. Of course it is implied when you are waiting for over 6 minutes. I had to ask for a receipt in which Santavias claims she could not reprint, all while holding my receipt in her hand. Very argumentative and combative. I asked another associate what was taking so long he informed of wait for chicken, I asked him could I have a tea since I had been waiting so long. Tea was out and I jokingly made a comment to him about tea and my food being out as well, in which Santavias jumped in and said "Did you pay for a sweet tea?" This was truly a horrible experience on today. I am upset at the lack of professionalism and customer service displayed through the associate. I was not made to feel like a valued or welcomed customer.

ive gone here 4 times and each time they mess up the order, 3 of the 4 it was giving me a different item than what i ordered and twice where they forgot to give me something compleatly. the best i have ever gottwn back as compensation was 10 or 15% off an order they want me to do right then and there. i dont get the item replaced or added b.c i get it to go and i dont notice till i get home. its sad b.c when i lived in california i loved the chicken avocado salad. ive tried ordering it 3 times here, first was missing dressing even afer i asked if they had it in the bag. 2nd i caught in time and corrected them, 3rd i have no idea what they gave me didnt even have chicken. my burritos have been the wrong ones twice. and they seem to forget my chips every time i get a combo. and once forgot my burrito compleatly.

If you like chipotle you wont like this place. Menu looked great so went in and got the chips and quest to start and the grande avocado chicken bowl. Chips were terrible - cold, oily and stale. The queso was not bad. The bowl looked nothing like the photos I saw online. The ingredients seemed very low quality and I didnt like the Spanish rice. The "chicken" was dry and tasteless and almost cold. To top it off I got the combo which came with tortillas - which were barely warm and didnt appeal to me at all. Def not homemade and seemed very low quality. My daughter had a kids burrito and mac n cheese for the side - big mistake. Feel like I paid way to much for what I received. Didnt like the food but the place is modern and such inside. Ill stick with chipotle - cheap and very tasteful!

We went today for the first time, and let me tell you, we went thru the drive thru, I wanted to try the chicken, so I order the 3 piece with rice and beans and no soda. My partner had the crunchy taco she said it was ok. My food, I ate it cause I havent had nothing in the whole day, the chicken was dry, the rice plain Jane no flavor and really small portion, the beans, not homemade, its can beans with bacon, I didnt get my corn tortillas so I cant say anything about those. The only good thing I liked was the green salsa. Just wanted to see how it was, and was really disappointed, so if you like or love like me Pollo Regio, stuck with them, less expensive and better quality of your food.

Have eaten here twice. The first time, the drive thru was extremely slow but I stood in line anyway since I was curious about the food. Ive only ate the chicken combo and the taco snacks. Their chicken is absolutely amazing!! I normally hate eating chicken that is not cooked all the way inside (KFC experience)... but their chicken is just cooked right and tastes really good!! My experience with the taco has been different, I ordered the same taco the two times Ive been here but I didnt receive the same taco each time. As far as the taste goes, the tacos tasted good but their chicken is by far my favorite. Overall: I would recommend to a friend.
