First, anyone who thinks this is real Chinese food has never eaten in a real Chinese restaurant. Real Chinese food does not consist of a bunch of breaded meat (the massive quantities of bread, I suppose, are supposed to stop you from noticing the scarcity of the meat and its lack of flavor and freshness). This is buffet quality food, except that at a Chinese buffet youd be able to get a good value in terms of quantity, if not taste. $39 bought us several servings of plain white rice, three servings of hot sauce, and three buckets lightly filled with breaded junk. The one item - the Manchurian Beef - that wasnt breaded was so hotly spiced as to be inedible. Still looking for a decent Chinese restaurant in SD. Maybe Sioux Falls? The Chinese restaurant in Brookings HyVee was vastly better, which is frightening considering how mediocre it is (but not terrible). This establishment must be very thankful for a clientele that apparently hasnt eaten much outside of Watertown.

Okay, so maybe Im spoiled. Just moved here from Washington State where they actually have great Chinese food. China Wok is like a fast food joint, and the food was wholly unsatisfying. Service was good and quick, and there was a lot of food on the plastic plate that we ate with plastic forks. The good service is the only reason for the one star rating, otherwise I would have given it zero stars.

I had the general chicken but was not real impressed. The meat was very stringy and tough with a lot of breading on it. The rice was good and thats mainly what I ended up eating. This js my fist and last time here and this is my first ever review.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in town! They have a really huge selection of items and very clean restaurant. The dining area is not very big but they have take out as well. It isnt Buffet, but you get quality over quantity here.
