I ordered a 16-piece Signature Sandwich Platter for a work lunch meeting. The platter was beautiful, the sandwiches were HUGE and DELICIOUS, and Steve, the deli manager, went out of his way to provide an additional gluten free sandwich on short order for our gluten sensitive business owner. The platter was ready (along with bountiful condiments on the side at no extra cost) and waiting when I went to pick it up. I cant say enough how pleased I am with Hannafords deli and bakery departments at the Broadway, Bangor location. Kudos to you all, and a big "Thank you" to Steve!

Good, clean store with a helpful staff. They have a good if busy deli, the produce section is medium sized but the produce is generally very fresh and well stocked. The seafood section is good as is the meat counter. They have two or three mobility carts which are generally well cared for and charged. They have a natural food section and organic alternatives. They carry a variety of alternatives to dairy products. They have a pharmacy, sell lottery tickets, the parking lot is large. The store is generally busy but doesnt seem crowded.

It was my favorite hannaford until a very bad experience with a manager who didnt want to help a customer. It is unfortunate that one person can sway ones opinion about an establishment. But unfortunately it is those bad experiences that leave a lasting negative impression. Until that day, I had shopped at hannaford 3-4 times a week for nearly 20 years with absolutely nothing but good shopping experiences.

Typical Hannaford, decent selection and layout, great seafood and meat selection and prices that are far more expensive than Walmart for similar items like all Hannafords. A Whole Foods it is not, and it has strayed from its roots of guaranteeing the lowest prices since it was called Shop N Save.

Hannaford To Go makes it so easy to get groceries - I can order online and have them packed in my car at curbside without having to disturb my infant son. Also, I love the variety of fresh, healthy convinience foods. All the produce is fresh, and their selection is superb!

Great produce selection and friendly staff. The line for the pharmacy can get ridiculously long, but the pharmacy techs and pharmacists are always extremely helpful. Their gluten-free selection is continuously growing and their fresh meats are good quality.

Good for basics, less variety and stock than other Hannaford stores. Plenty of parking and decent staff. I will say they have the small carts rather than those weird double decker carts and I do live that.

For being in Maine for two years now I still find it sad that although Im an hour from the ocean my selection of fish looks secondhand and limited to salmon, cod and the occasional third option.
