Ive ALWAYS had great experiences here in the past. Until this day, its always been great food and great service. Recently, I had my first negative experience. Initially, I requested vegetables instead of pasta, which the waitress said they could not do, but offered to give me some parmesan zucchini instead. My father had broccoli as his side. There were potatoes as a side next to me, along with other vegetables being served around me. I feel like they could have accommodated my request with minimal effort, but none was made. We were served nearly burned breadsticks. They were completely hard (like rocks). Not fresh at all. Our waitress was VERY OBVIOUSLY annoyed by our request for fresh bread sticks. The waitress was then also not gracious when a fresh cup for my mothers coffee was requested. She Rolled her eyes and shook her head all the way to the cups. After dinner we ordered a dessert that they were out of. Followed by a dessert that was terrible! It tasted frozen and was also not fresh. None of us enjoyed our entrees, but those things can usually be eased by great service, but the service was terrible and our waitress was rude! While I waited for my parents, several servers were gossiping about other waitstaff and customers at the front desk. My mother asked if there was a comment card, to which the chatty man at the front counter replied, "nahhhhh, not really" Hence this review instead.

We had a "Grandparent Nightmare" on 7/23 @ the I-45 location. We arrived @ 7:20 p.m. thinking we would be past the dinner rush. We were told there was a 30 minute wait. Fortunately, we had games to occupy our 7 & 3 year-old Grandsons. At 7:55, my husband went to check, & we were told we could sit in the bar (Table 13.) Our waitress, Carly, greeted us & quickly brought our drinks. She then took our order & delivered salad & breadsticks. Thirty minutes later (when we were expecting our food), she returned to say she had the childrens orders but not ours. (She had even repeated them initially.) We asked for more salad & bread sticks. She brought the breadsticks but did not bring our food & salad for 30 more minutes @ 9 p.m. The childrens food was cold (perhaps sat while ours was cooked?) By then, we were all starved but tired. We had shown our waitress our phone coupon for $1 kids meals when we ordered, but when she brought the bill we were charged the full amount. When we reminded her about the coupon, she said she had to get the manager to adjust it. Despite the coupon saying "1 kids meal per adult entry", we were told she had to get permission for more than one on our bill. This took more time so we did not leave the restaurant until 9:38 p.m.--LATE for children!! The bill was still not correct, but frankly, we didnt care. I doubt we will return!!

While the service was as to be expected with any restaurant, and the food tasted how it should, I began to get sick in the middle of my meal. I was unable to swallow and had a hard time breathing. I was having an allergic reaction. I left the restaurant immediately and headed to the hospital, but was unable to make it in time, so we stopped at a free standing ER. Here I stopped breathing and was intubated before being transported by ambulance where I spent a few days on life support. Upon my recovery I contacted the Olive Garden in Conroe, TX to ask about their food preparation. I found out they use the same fryer for shrimp & seafood as they do for all of their other foods. This is extremely dangerous to the many customers who have a shellfish allergy. When I told the general manager what had happened to me and suggested they have two different fryers I was told it would be a waste of money to cook the food separately. He didnt even so much as say, "Im sorry that happened to you." Its good to know they have such concern for the safety of their customers.

Check your to go bags!!! They forgot my daughters macaroni in our to go dinner. And put The wrong sauce on the ravioli. After I called and drove back there, they handed me the macaroni and that was it. No one apologized for the fact that I had to drive back up there. Didnt ask if we needed anything else. Not sorry at all I missed dinner with my family to drive back up there to get my kids food and that the other childs order was wrong. No offer to comp the macaroni that I made a return trip for. No acknowledgment that they did anything wrong. Just acted like this happened all the time and they didnt care. I get mistakes happen, but at least acknowledge you screwed up.

7/15/2017 Update: Great service from Tyler in the bar area! He was pleasent, he was on point, and fun to talk to. Our food came out hot and delicious! Olive Garden is Olive Garden. I feel like everyone knows what to expect here. We are talking standard food, good food, but its not outstanding food. Stand outs for me are the classic shrimp fritta and black tie mousse cake. So the food being a given, when I rate Olive Garden Im rating 3 things; is it clean, is the service good and did the food meet my expectations. Its was clean, we were seated promptly, the waiter was great, attentive without being over bearing. The food was good. No mishaps here.

Ive had dinner at this Olive Garden many times but tonight the service was terrible from beginning to end. First, they wanted to seat my party of 5 at a table for 4. Then they seat us in the bar at a table that rocks back & forth. Our waiter acted like he was unfamiliar with simple request. The appetizer was less than bad quality. (Sampler Platter). One of my guest had to wait for a salad bowl. One, was denied salad dressing ( thousand island). I would advise anyone reading this to think twice before choosing Olive Garden in Conroe.

I was here last night with my husband, sister, and niece. The server was nice, but the service was poor. We mentioned my birthday to him, and he didnt even respond. Asked for salad without onions, and both times the salads were brought to us, they had onions. The server seemed detached and monotonous. I ordered the create your own tour with three pastas. I almost got the lasagna, but went for the shrimp scampi that was almost five dollars more. It came with four shrimp. It was a really disappointing birthday dinner.

I no longer dine in due to the horrible service (order was always brought to the table wrong or no drink refills, you name it). I cant even get good service in the Togo department either. They said it would be ready at 4:50pm, and I stood there and waited 30 minutes for them to bring me an order with the wrong soup and wrong kids meal. The server then wouldnt slow down and be quiet long enough for me to tell her the correct order I had to keep repeating myself while she talked over me. Very annoying and bad service.
