The food here is usually pretty good. That is this places only saving grace. That and a woman who works the line- think her name is Brittany. She has dreads. She looks like one of the managers and she is the only person there with any sense of professionalism. If a woman named Ms.Linsy/Madea walks up to take your order, request a different server. Shes awful. We sat right at that bar so we were able to see how she would take our order then walk away to just joke around with her coworkers or flirt and laugh at another table. She brought us coffees then walked away to flirt at another table. We waited 3 minutes before a girl named Shawn saw that we werent drinking and offered to get us cream. The restaurant was busy that morning so our food took about 20 minutes to come to the table. I have been a server and my husband manages an upscale restaurant so I understand that sometimes the line (the cooks) get a little busy and it takes longer for food to come out. But as a server I always did my part to make sure everything I could control was perfect and that the guest felt taken care of and as a guest that is what j expect. She never asked if we wanted coffee refills. She never brought more cream. She never brought straws for my daughter. I wanted to tip 0% but the old server in me still have her 10%. I dont think that Shawn or Brittany take tables but I wish we could have had them instead. I can see how hard they work and would have loved to have a competent server that I could actually tip 30+%. We will probably still come for the food but I refuse to have her as a server next time. Obviously anyone that puts Madea on her name tag and shoves her coworkers behind the line doesnt take anything seriously and isnt going to provide a good customer experience.

It seems shes the manager (Linzy or something, I couldnt figure out her name clearly Cuz she was always distant from me) Didnt get a good reception from her the moment I walked in, she kept mean mugging me the entire time I spent dining. Was observing the whole process of my order been prepared, my food stood there for 3min after been prepared before she served it to me. She dropped my ticket on the table while I was eating, I placed my card on the ticket. The ticket and my card was on the tale for exactly 6min 48sec after I was done eating and she stood there doing nothing, she also noticed I was done eating. This isnt my first time dining at this location, never had such attitude or any negative experience with none of the employees there before. Normally, whoever serves me makes couple trips back to my table asking if everythings going well or if theres anything else I may need and m ticket and card are normally picked up, processed and brought back to me, she instead constantly mugging me. When I called her attention that I need my ticket checked out, from afar, she said you have to get up and come to the checkout. Ok, kool. I went to the checkout, she walked away and another employee by the name BRITTANY checked me out.... As a manager, I think you should be the pace setter for your employees to follow. Is ridiculous how your employees are well mannered than you. Its a shame. I dont think Ill visit that location anymore.

I went to the Waffle House on westheimer for the first time with my boyfriend Sunday morning and we just had the worst customer service experience we have ever had. First off, upon arrival there were 2 empty dirty booths, we waited to see if the staff would clean it so we can have a seat at one of the booths, 10 minutes went by until my boyfriend had to ask if it could be cleaned so we can have a seat. After we sat and got ready to order, our server, Madea, walked up to us and just looked at us, she did not greet us or say anything at all, just expected us to give our order. After an uncomfortable stare she gave us we ordered. My boyfriend forgot to say what he wanted to drink and her way of asking was a loud and obnoxious "What you want to drink!?" we were quite appalled by her attitude. After that she brought our orange juices and threw our straws on the table. Again, we were just in shock of the treatment we were given. After that she gave us our order and our check and not a word out of her mouth came out. My boyfriend and I were just again, in shock and we did not even know how to react to this situation, since we are very polite people. Another noted thing was that when she served people of her race she greeted, laughed and smiled and talked to them kindly, as this is a small restaurant it is quite noticeable. This is by far the worst customer service experience we have both experienced ever.

It will be a cold day in hell b4 I step foot in this establishment again! The worse experience in quite a long time. Went to dine @ night with my bf and was greeted by obscene trap music playing. The tea/lemonade was equivalent to Koolaid i.e. full of sugar. Waitress was so rude and unprofessional as she never bothered to refill drinks or bother checking on us. There were a lot of ppl dining and appear to be "regulars" as they received all the service. The waitresses used there time to talk on phone and hang out with other staff then assisting paying guest. The food was not even good. Steak was dried out and overly seasoned with only black pepper. Grits taste awful, only thing that taste ok was the eggs which was a kid portion. Like a fool, I tipped her due to being in public service myself, despite her not earning anything. This place needs a renovation asap and honestly new staff as these folks just dont care. Horrible workers, nasty food, poor presentation/ representation.

Why am I going to this place when theres potentially better 24 hours chain breakfast joints out there? Well, for one its fairly close to where I live and 2., this place is no frills like some other 24 hours diners. This place is all about breakfast food. I have only been here after 2AM on the weekends and it sure gets packed really quick. Luckily the people who works there does thing in a fairly fast pace and people who have the munchies like me where youre craving eggs and bacon after a night of drinking. Again, when you come here at 2AM in the morning, dont expect really, really good service, or a crowd that you can stare at all night because people are either drunk, buzzed, or maybe both at the same time and they just want their waffle. Since this is an open kitchen, you can see your food being prepared if you are sitting at the counter. The over all price is relatively cheaper to other 24 hours breakfast joints but the service will be "you get what you pay for".

I love going to Waffle House but this place is dirty. The only good thing was the cook, the food was good but the rest of the staff is a joke. This review is for the location not food. We walked in and there was not where to sit. Not because it was full but all the table were dirty and full of dishes. I took my mother in law for the 1st time and didnt even want to eat and just had coffee. Wont be coming to this place at all. Best part is I ordered the all-star and I didnt get my waffles which I was fine with since I got full it would have gone to waste but once I went to pay there was smoke coming out the waffle maker and once they opened there was a burned waffle lol so it looks like they forget they were making one. Like I said this location is a joke. Go to a different location. Wont be surprised is the place burns down.
