We went for the bottomless shrimp after watching ads for it on Hulu. We went late on a weeknight and were promptly seated. Brian was our server and Ive gotta give him most of the credit on the 5 star rating because he was AMAZING. Very attentive even though we were seated all the way back, he was friendly and funny and got our orders in quickly. The BBQ shrimp had less and less char the more we ordered it, but was still fantastic. The Alfredo shrimp was also amazing! The other flavors I wasnt as fond of but thats my personal preference, they were all cooked really well. I wasnt super fond of the mashed potatoes, they were a bit bland and thick.. but otherwise good food. It definitely quenched my craving for shrimp!

I love Red Lobster. I have been eating there for years and I go there to get a shrimp fix from time to time. The food is consistent and the service is good. I enjoy the specials and fests as well. Good mixed drinks and they are generous with their delicious biscuits. If you need fish or shrimp fresh off the boat then you need to go to Port A, dont expect to get it in Central Texas. But Red Lobster fills the bill in the meantime. Food snobs are welcome to spend much more elsewhere. And best of all, they actually have something other than the ubiquitous tilapia that every other restaurant in town serves....I will continue to come here and enjoy the shrimp, scallops and lobster that I love.

Visiting manager Logan and regular manager Kai fulfilled a special request for a meal for a critically ill friend - they went the extra mile and were extremely generous and kind. Every attention was given to detail and every comfort added for the enjoyment of my friend. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented. Logan and Kai expected nothing in return, they just wanted to be a blessing to my friend when they heard her story....if I had any power Id give them a hug, a pat on the back and a large raise! We were seated quickly, however the service sucked. I have eaten at this location a few times as well as a few others. It was the worst experience I have ever had. Empty drink for over 20 minutes. Unlimited biscuits maybe if I didnt have to wait 30 to 40 minutes for my waiter to come out of the kitchen so I could ask for them. Oh and sitting by the water station = butt in your face all the time. (Wasnt even a cute butt) and to top it off NO T.P. in the restroom. I was furious when I was finally able to leave.

You wont find anything surprising or unique, assuming youve been to a red lobster before. Its pretty standard but this location does have slightly more cozy dining area and atmosphere than others Ive visited, its not as open so good for a date night. Also the wait here isnt too bad as long as you show up before 7pm. Staff is friendly and experinced for the most part. The food is just a little too pricey for the quality/quantity you get. My fave is the trout with Korean BBQ glaze.

First i dont name people but Bryan was on point! He was nice, funny, and helpful. Service was great unlike other restaurants similar to this one. Okay FOOD: Delicious, crab was good cooked right, the fried shimp has a nice crunchy batter. Wild rice was cooked right. Stuffed mushrooms are good cause they have bits of seafood in them, small but good. And the drinks are good as well. So much to say but overall i would go back.

Good food. Love the endless shrimp when available. South Austin location is the best. Staff and management were great and attentive. Except for the guy with the man bun. Had to get a new server. He paid no attention and left us sitting there for 10 minutes without even taking are drink order or giving us any sign that he acknowledged us. Had to flag down another server and she was great.

Me and my husband decided to go out for dinner for our anniversary and we couldnt choose between Red Lobster or Olive Garden we made a horrible decision picking Red Lobster we had a horrible experience for being our first time , we waited about 20 minutes just to get our drinks and our waitress only checked up on us only twice we will never come back . Really disappointed

I love their cheddar biscuits. I am a regular customer and recently they added honey habanero coconut shrimp in their four course meal and that is just awesome. All for $15.99.Their lobster feast entrees are delicious too...grilled garlic shrimp is my favorite too...On weekends, It has long wait time but other than that everything is awesome about this place!!

This use to be a really good place to eat. Now its just falling to pieces and always has an odor when you walk in. (Not the lobster) Service is lacking also, almost as if no one cares about your dining experience. My husband and I waited 15 min after we were seated so our waiter "could finish his cigarette" is what the hostess stated.

Not all red lobsters are the same. This summer I have eaten at all 3 Austin Red Lobsters. The one on S. LAMAR is not near as good as the other two. Crab cakes would be laughed out of Maryland. Prices are too high. Previous to my recent visit to the Z S. Lamar site I had a great lobster meal at each of the other Red Lobsters.

The gentleman at the bar was very sweet and helpful the guy placed are order and like 20 minutes later he checked on it and nothing another 20 minutes went by and nothing a whole hour went by and that the cooks are extremely slow there they could never get our order out and all we ordered was stuffed mushrooms

Absolutly wonderful service and food. I went with my family member that uses a walker. Our waiter was patient, kind, and attentive. He really made the evening very special. When he you go, ask for Eli, he was truly the best waiter we have ever had in our past dining experiences. Thank you Eli!

USUALLY its great from food to service to desert but today was one of those days first a hair in the rolls :( I love the biscuits but it was in more then one biscuit I just alerted the waiter and he took it away apologized well then I get my brownie ala mode with no ice cream hmm that sucks.

Picked up food to go at the bar on Christmas Eve. The young lady who helped me was so sweet and actually brought my order out and went over it with me as she put it into the bag. I so appreciate that, nothing like getting home and it isnt right! Food was delicious as usual.

I dont care what anyone thinks. Red Lobster is still a fancy place that dreams are made on. Growing up, a trip here was special. From the cheese biscuits to the flounder to the awkward viewing of rubber- banded lobsters awaiting hot baths - I dig it.

Another of the National chain, but this one is nice and clean although still kinda dark inside. Food was fresh and we enjoyed the new appetizer menu. Great waitstaff - always ask if you are celebrating so they can give you a dessert.
