I dont know why there are negative reviews at all, these nice folks have been in business here for years! They are very kind, outgoing, and friendly! They know me by my voice when I order by phone for delivery, or in person when I come in and remember specific details of how I like my order! They Re very hardworking, the food is in my opinion the best in Meriden, and they have two lovely children that sometimes come in and are adorable. It pains me to think that folks would throw up a bad review when in fact they were probably not very nice themselves to begin with. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want really good Chinese food!

I really dont know how this place stays in business. The lady that answers the phone is about THE nastiest, rudest person on the planet. The delivery guy was extremely rude, too, with NO manners. My son paid him and even before he could take money out for the tip (and we always tip 15%), he said to him in a nasty way, " what, no tip?". I yelled down to my son "NO TIP." I will NEVER order from these awful people again.

I wish I could give the place negative stars...i couldnt even order because i dont speak chinese then they needed too much info from my credit card...then he started swearing at me so i hung up. I called back to try and find out the problem and he called me n***er and started swearing at me so i dont ever recommend anything good to this place. Maybe the health inspector by the way the rest of the reviews look...

They suck just called placed the order they told me they only deliver on the west side of Meriden horrible service rushed me off the phone before I even found that out in the first place asking me if Im done yet couldnt understand a word she said like she wasnt speaking English anyway hope they get robbed

Food is garbage and lady on the phone is rude like shes a miserable human being that hates her life, pretty sad really, oh well.. Xing Long (3 minute walk across the street to the stop & shop plaza) is much better food and service, only thing is no delivery, but eat there instead :)

Spent 10 minutes arguing with the guy about what I ordered. Smh never had a problem with jade garden till today. Guy was disrespectful, it was disgusting. His customer service was horrible. Gave me an attitude and everything. Never will be ordering from jade garden again.

They over charge for the food and they burned my chicken wings they were completely black and when i called them they gave me an attitude refuse to give me back my money or replace my wings i will never order from this place again if i can give them minus stars i would.

I was new to the area, the food is great and tasteful, and the reviews I had seen here and elsewhere had given me pause-but I went to try it and I am glad I did. Much of what you will read in the reviews is out of date.
