This was the worst experience ever!! 2 1/2 hours to get our food! Waitress and Management sucked! Drinks watered down food was okay....I have been to Hibachi grills in New York, Colorado, Austin, Temple, Round Rock , Dallas and San Antonio! We went here for our friends Birthday I was excited because I hadnt been to one for over a year. So our reservations were for 7pm yet we didnt get seated until 730pm. Our waitress was horrible she had no experience she couldnt remember who had what messed up our orders and would ask you to hand her your cup to refill it way across the table instead of going around and refilling it. She had a snide attitude about things we asked. First our drinks came after sitting for another 30 minutes she couldnt remember Wich dacquri was alcoholic or non alcoholic Wich was pretty important since we had 2 pregnant women who ordered non alcoholic. Not sure that it might have mattered because the one with alcohol tasted virgin. I ordered a Patron top shelf frozen margarita and got some melted icey with what seemed a drop of patron in it I could not taste the alcohol at all. We asked if we could order yet because it was now 8pm and everyone was starving the waitress really told us give me a minute I have to clear my other table first. Finally we ordered and again we didnt get our soup and salad or sushi until almost 9pm so we started asking where the cook was because every table around us that came the same time we did had eaten already. She kept saying the cook was preparing our tray so I guess it takes an hour to put some eggs vegetables and raw meat on a tray. We had to ask for chopsticks that took about 30 minutes for her to bring. So finally at 9:30 the chef comes out he starts cooking does no tricks what so ever and trys to make some dumb jokes. He had a couple of the orders wrong and all he said was sorry. We all got to eat around 10pm so now we had been here 3 hours!!! My friend had brought a cake for her husband and we asked the waitress if we could have 12 small plates for his cake she brought him a frozen piece of cheese cake on a small plate and said he gets it free for his birthday his wife then asked can we get 12 plates still for my cake the waitress told us No because those plates are only for birthdays we said but its his birthday and your a resteraunt and your telling us you have no plates? She said her manager told her she could rip small Togo styrofoam boxes see e the cake on there! So this nice expensive fancy resteraunt just became all Killeen! Ghetto! Next we tell the manager all the issues and all he did was make excuses I told him the drinks were weak he goes oh yeah sorry.. Then when we got our check the waitress added 20% gratuity to everyones check so even tho she sucked! We still had to tip her! This was the worst place ever and really the food was not up to par for a Hibachi grill its probably worth the extra 25 min drive to go to temple! The manager is a top rated diuche bag offered no apologies or gave us nothing in return for our 3 1/2 our inconvenience! Ive had to wait at Starbucks for 15 min abd they at least comped my coffee! Who ever hires and runs this place is a joke!

Ive tried the chicken, strip steak and ribeye combo plates and I would highly recommend the strip steak (everything else was slighly dissatisfying in taste for the price of the plate). Ive tried the sushi once; the price is normally high (depending on what you get) but luckily I went during happy hour. The sushi was delectably delicious and the strip steak plate is mouthwatering. The chefs are all friendly and entertaining (some are better than others). I would not recommend this for everyday eating but this is a great place to go for date night. At times it is crowded but considering they have limited habachi tables its nothing you shouldnt expect. You can always take a regular table if you dont want to wait. I have personally have never waited more than 10 min. I do not recommend taking younger children. (9 times out of ten youll be taking home a half eaten $15 kids combo meal) If you do take your kids just have them share off an adults combo plate(2 meats, rice, veggies). The servings are decently large so you might as well share for the price unless you are certain they can handle their own plate. Overall, best restaurant in killeen. I know Ill be back for more.

Have been to this Nami twice both times had the same Cook I think his name is Paul. He is a grumpy older man. First time I went we ordered and they were not busy it took him 45 minutes to get to our table to cook. By that time I had to go to work when I asked him to put my food in a Togo box he refused. He threw the rice back on the grill and asked me why I sat at a hibachi. Maybe if you didnt take an hour to start cooking I wouldnt have had to leave. Last night we went back for friends anniversary. Same Cook. I asked for double yum yum, dont like the ginger, and he threw(sid it over to me mad) the yum yum at me. My friend asked for the same thing and he stopped and just looked at her. Then threw (sid it to her mad as well) her yum yum at her as well. He is so rude.. Went back just for sushi a week later and sat at the tables. Food was good.. when I was done I sat waiting for my ticket for 15 minutes with empty plates. I asked the manager and he just brushed me off and 20 min later came back and told me he forgot. My waitress never came back to see if I was okay after she took my order. Will never go back. The one in belton has much better service!!!

I came here for lunch today and ordered 3 lunch chicken hibachis. Despite being seated first, we wound up at the end of the line in getting our food. This would be fine if the portions were the same as everyone else at the table. We got screwed over on the amount of chicken we got compared to others and especially the amount of vegetables(which is our favorite part) My son was the most screwed over of all in the amounts he was given. He is only 5 but even he noticed, I ordered him the adult portions in order to bring (what I assumed would be) his abundant leftovers home to the husband. I dont think its unreasonable to expect to get what you paid for and I paid $40 for 3 adult lunch plates. Also, when ordering they tell you that your meal comes with either steamed or fried rice, the receipt tells a different story because it charges an additional $2 per meal for fried rice. The menu states this but the waitress insisted that either fried rice or steamed rice came with it, so I believed her. This was my favorite restaurant in Killeen, but sadly, we wont be back.

I called to place a order at 9:50pm and I guess the owner pick up. I was confused in my order so I said since Im pulling up. I will place my order inside so I could see the menu to make sure I was getting the right thing. When I walked inside the owner was like "here she go.. you are the lady from the phone call right. Im like see like me see the menu and I started to place my order..He had a arm brace and bandages everywhere. He said no you dont place your order with me you can see Im hurt...place it to the lady behind the counter. She was a young girl with blond hair...she was so nice she even apologized for him...he told her that we needed to hurry up so they could close the kitchen at 10 but your sign and online say you close at 10:30..he kelp talking rude to the girl....I said you know what I dont wanna spend my money in a place with somekn0 so rude no matter how much I love the food....
