This is one of my number one choices in Canandaigua. This is where I take someone whos never had Indian before. Ive taken atleast 20 different friends and family members here and EVERYONE liked it, even the picky ones. Its a little hard to find since its tucked in a little strip on a side street. The lunch buffet is a really good value, even if you dont stuff yourself. The food is always fresh and theres a good variety of flavors and textures. Everything is generally mild and you can add your own heat with the hot sauce provided. A little goes a long way. The buffet comes with naan, dessert, and tea. Its the best naan Ive ever had. Ive ordered from the menu a few times and liked everything Ive tried. The samosas are fantastic.

Buffet Review: Indian Food Done Right! Its now my favorite Indian Buffet out of all of Rochester. Flavors follows the traditions set by the best Indian restaurants: Use only the cheapest decor, a random mish-mash of silverware, and keep the food delicious and topped-off. Their chai was not part of the buffet when we visited, but was made perfectly. Just the right mix of spices and pepper, with perfect sweetness. Nothing was peppery-hot, everything was spiced to perfection and all of the curries and sauces perfectly thickened. Naan was continuously replenished. The Deserts were perfectly warmed, and none of the buffet trays allowed to sit empty.

The food is consistently delicious. Besides being a good value, the lunch buffet is a great way to introduce someone to Indian food. Although the buffet itself is limited it’s selection is fresh tasting and well maintained with a variety of meat dishes, vegetarian options and a small salad bar. An order of fresh Naan is supplied to enjoy with your meal. A full menu is available as well. Servers are pleasant and the place is kept clean. On a side note: people worried about spice will have nothing to worry about, but if you like spicy make sure to add the “hot sauce” from the salad area to give your meal a real punch.

My favorite Indian restaurant in the area by far, and that is including all of Rochester. The food has a complexity and freshness that I cant find anywhere else, even in classic/basic dishes like the Chicken Makhani. Their lunch/dinner buffet is just a good as their menu, just with understandably limited selection. The chai is hot, fresh, and just the right balance of spiced slightly sweet. The Naan is soft and crispy and buttered hot from the oven.

I went there because a friend had recommended it. I will say that I have tried diffrent Thai restaurants in the Rochester area and this is one of the best. Extremely good service , food, atmosphere and price. When I was there they had live tasteful music that was not to loud or soft while dining. It was a very enjoyable experience and would deffinatly recommend it. And it is a awesome adion to the Canandaigua, NY area.

Incredible food and I have never had anything I didnt like. The service is fast and helpful with answering questions, especially when youre unfamiliar with the different dishes. Wednesday nights have become a fam favorite for their buffet and flute player! Super reasonable prices for the amount of food you get and the inside is beautiful and calming! If you havent been, then you are missing out!

Love the food. We have been twice - on Wednesday evenings for the buffet, which is extremely good value! The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant itself are pretty dull and uninspiring but the food makes up for it - nice and spicy! Going back again tonight (Tuesday) to try some items from the menu. BTW the owner and staff are very welcoming and will explain the ingredients for you.

We drive about 45 mins to go here all the time. One of the best restaurants in the area overall. I like the lunch buffet which is a great deal, & lets me get my favorites (tikka masala, korma, bhaji) but still try some new ones, which are always great. They have a buffet for dinner too, but only on Wednesdays.

I love this restaurant. The food is excellent (best chicken makhani ever), good selection on buffet and they make this chickpea flour dessert bar that is out of this world. The staff is friendly and helpful; when they first opened the owner/chef personally thanked me for coming in...

Slightly pricey for the area, but the staff is amazing and the food is beyond delicious. Buffet is not wheats available, but its nice to sit down to a dinner. Love this place. Prices for entrees are above $11, but they are accommodating to diets such as vegan with no extra charges.

Absolutely wonderful spot! Cant wait to go back for the lunch buffet to try more options! Our server was really friendly and made great recommendations! The Xacuti (sp.) was a house specialty and it was AMAZING! Way better than the India House in Victor. Cant wait to return!

Im rarely in canandaigua anymore but when I found out they had an Indian restaurant I HAD to check it out. Good service. Great food. Their evening buffet is very convenient and affordable its what I usually get. Better than India House in victor for sure.

Excellent Indian cuisine. Flavors is one of my favorite restaurants in the area by far. My only critiques: somewhat bland naan and the vindaloo wasnt as good as Ive had in other restaurants. Stick to the specialties of the house like the xacuti.

Our server was gracious and kind, it felt more like dining in someones home than a resturant. The food was delicious, hot, fresh and of high quality. The portions were exactly right, enough to share and maybe take some home. The prices were fair.

Such a lovely atmosphere and staff. Also super accommodating to vegans - from the main dishes to the bread, just ask! Everything is so good, definitely my favorite place to get Indian food in the greater Rochester area.

Excellent service, best warm Naan bread Ive ever had! Buffet dishes were tasty, though not spicy as anticipated, so might be good for someone who is worried about trying Indian food because of the spice.

The Chicken Malai is my personal favourite dish, but I can guarantee all of the dishes are excellent. Their lunch buffet is a good value and a great way for first-timers to sample a variety of Indian cuisine.

Ate here a number of times and always had great food and service. Ordering from the menu is slightly higher quality, but the buffet is really good especially if you are looking for a fast inexpensive lunch.
