I have to drive a few miles further to shop at Ingles but it is worth the effort/expense to do that. The isles are wide so it is easier to navigate when the store is busy and there isnt shopping cart gridlock. The floors and fixtures are clean and thats not true where I shopped before I discovered Ingles. The restrooms are kept clean and stocked with paper and soap and are checked regularly to make sure they stay that way. I like that they put fresh flowers in the restrooms. Thats a nice touch. I like the quality of the meats and the freshness of the veggies. Ive found that Ingles branded items are good quality and much less expensive than national brands and I save money there. Im on a tight budget and I couldnt shop at Ingles if they werent competitive with other grocery stores. I always check the sale papers for Ingles and other stores and I try to stock up on items I need that are on sale. Sometimes I just stop in and eat lunch from their hot bar, salad bar or deli. Everything tastes so fresh and home made. I joined Ingles Advantage. Its free and I get discounts on many items and can use my points to get lower gas prices, and their gas prices are already the lowest I see anywhere. The only thing I dont like is that the points expire sometimes before I need to get gas, but its still the cheapest gas anywhere. I saved the best for last and thats the friendliness of the employees. Even when I havent seen an individual before Im comfortable asking questions or making comments and they seem to really care. They make me feel comfortable and make me feel like Im appreciated as a customer. If I cant find something I ask an employee and they dont point the way; they take me right to where it is. Thats not to say that some Ingles employees arent rude but dont let one bad apple spoil the barrel. Maybe theyre having a bad day like we all do sometimes.

Horrible customer service!!! Teenagers working the registers look miserable and avoid helping you when possible. Always have to wait in long line to checkout. Today I had a buggy full of groceries. The lane beside me had customers with only one or two items. Yet, the bagger stayed in the line with few items while my cashier struggled to ring my groceries and then bag them. Two young baggers were propped against the window in the cart area drinking coke. Finally one brought over a cart for my cashier to put my groceries in. The whole process was unnecessarily awful and a huge waste of time! And this seems to be the norm at this store. Seriously considering driving across town to Publix after todays trip.

Both the management and employees here have really deteriorated in the last 6 months, and Im not sure why. Most of my recent visits have been pretty bad experiences, and I would normally give them a single star except there is one employee who is exceptionally nice and helpful - Harsha in the deli. She alone is the bright star in this store, and goes out of her way to make you feel like a special customer. Nobody else in the store does this, so she should receive special consideration for bringing people back to this location in spite of the other problems.

A lot of racism and discrimination against the workers. Overheard customers talk about "Asian or chink" ethnicity there and said that there were to many and that they need more "white or Americans". I went and bought some groceries and as I waited in line the cashier called customer service, so when the manager arrived he was wearing glasses and was really rude to the coworker and as a customer it was REALLY unprofessional. This place seems OK aside from the fact that there is so much racism and discrimination there it was unbelievable.

Very disappointed, ran into this Ingles where I always shop, store was dirty, trash on floors, no produce bags to put produce in, deli dept, horrible service, ordered ham and gave my husband some that was sliced for some one else and returned and given to him. That is just not right not know who may have handled it, if we get sick you bet everyone will know about our experience. I have never had such a bad experience in all the years I have been shopping here. No one to complain to I guess I will have to fine another store.

This grocery store has a well-stocked salad bar, olive bar, and wings bar. Most items are competitively priced. Everything is where you would expect it to be. The rows are well-labeled and though it is a large store, I can find most things quickly. The only downside is the gourmet cheese (near the deli) and hummus, which is more expensive than Publix.

This is the only place I ship for flowers. The floral manager, Sandy, is so professional and courteous. She always knows exactly how I want my wifes flowers. This is my grocery store of choice. While I may be able to find some items cheaper elsewhere I find the employees friendly and courteous and everything is in stock.

Good grocery store experience. Though, it seems archaic that they cannot pull up your rewards card by phone number at the POS terminal. Instead, they hand write it, carry it to customer service, and pull up your customer card number there. Its slow and angers the shoppers waiting in line behind you.

Wonderful place local food fresh fruit and vegetables from local areas very fresh salad bar is to die for fried chicken is wonderful must try I would recommend anyone going there Ive never had a problem with Ingles keep up the good work Ingles

Cashier dropped my potato and offered to get me another but had me waiting 10 minutes and eventually told me to get it myself. NONE of the managers helped me, even though they saw me standing there waiting. HORRIBLE customer service...

Been going to this store for 15yrs. A few months ago started going to Publix and now barely go to Ingles anymore. Publix has really good 2 x1 which are all together unlike Ingles and their customer service is awesome.

Terrible managers... They had one lane open... Customers backed up waiting for soo long and the managers behind the customer service counter didnt do anything. They were lazy and obviously didnt care.

It was ok. I dont like how this one is played out. The pet food is right next to the dairy. The cerealbis right next to the over the counter drugs. The checkout lines are very narrow.

Mr. Tooley has the best store I Spartanburg, I met him when he was working on 290 hwy and he had it looking the best, now it is going down hill. Mr tooley needs to open his on store.

Only place i buy milk - HBG, antibiotic free; salad bar, fruit is not dry and millie like Bi-lo and Walmart. Better prices than the Fresh Market. Always clean, quiet, and bright.
