On the evening of 09-18-15 the wife and I went to Pina Fiesta Mexican Grill for dinner. We arrived at 5:15 with over half of the restaurant empty. We received our drinks, menus and stale chips but then were all but forgotten. 20 Min later, after telling a waitress we were ready to order, still no one came to take our order. There were numerous servers running around cleaning windows, waiting on patrons that arrived after us, etc. When we told them we were leaving and why the attitude was one of “ok so what” – one server made a feeble attempt at “I can take your order now”. I would NOT recommend Pina Fiesta Mexican Grill – there are way too many good Mexican restaurants in Louisville. – I will make the BBB aware just in case this is a recurring issue and we can save others the dining experience. We left and went to El Rodeo Mexican Restaurant and had courteous, friendly service along with an excellent meal – highly recommend them

I ordered tacos al carbon. The tacos came with beans and rice. The chips and salsa were great! The tacos were amaaaazing!!! The only downfall were the flour tortillas. When I order tacos, I expect to get corn tortillas. They should be served with lime slices too. The rice was kinda bland, the refried beans were great as well. The service, on the other hand, was absolutely horrible! The waitress seemed rude, and offered no refills on my drink, not to mention she never came back to check on me. Matter of fact, all the employees, including the cashier seemed rude. I would definitely go back, because the tacos were so dang good! But the staff as a whole, needs to work on their people skills. Also, mexican restaurants need to realize that tacos are trending up, these days. I dont want a full meal for lunch. Just offer up 3-4 taco lunch specials. Munch n go meals!

I called to order carry out because least time I did takeout there the staff was frustrated I didnt call ahead. I was hung up on by everyone who answered, maybe it was an attempt of putting me on hold seeing as how it was very loud in the background but out of the FIVE times I tried to call that was never said. Very unprofessional and belittling. Their food is very good but I will not be going back because of the service. I hope you all have a better experience and or they up their game, the service will end up being what closes the doors if not.

Went there with my friend and nephews, was there 15 mins before drink order was taken. Server kept bringing out these quarter full bowls of salsa vs. Bottles. After going over my order 4 times she still got it wrong. When I told the guy at the register that she rang me up for the incorrect number of tacos he argued with me, stating "well she said you got this many" as if I didnt know what I ordered or what arrived to the table. I highly doubt Ill be going back.

This was my first time dining at Pina Fiesta with some friends and I have to say it was a fun experience. I ordered the Pollo Sabroso and mixed it with steak. It was delectable, the atmosphere was authentic, and the service was fantastic. I never went without something to drink, our waitress was friendly and always had a smile on her face. I will definitely dine here again, if youre on Dixie Highway and enjoy Mexican cuusine I highly recommend it.

This place is really good if you know what to order the service is usually excellent. It sounds bad but whenever we get a female waitress, the service is slow and they are usually in a bad mood. We have been here over a dozen times and whenever its a male waiter its been awesome. Love their queso dip. The salsa is hit or miss depending who prepares it.

Food is okay but very very greasey. The wait was horrible. And the waitresses are very rude. The tend to seem lost and snoby. Plus they tend to stare at guys like theyve never seen a guy before. not all of the waitresses but most of them. I felt so uncomfortable I just wanted my food so I can leave. Went there once and never going back again. Nope!!!

In my mind one of the best Mexican places to go for lunch in the area. You get tons of food for similar prices to the chain Mexican places. Also the chips are always pretty fresh and the service is really good. Im always happy when I go here. Definitely worth checking out.

Wait is terrible. Arrived no one to seat me. Seated myself. Sat for 10mn no one checked to see if I was waited on. So went to front for help ..was finally seated and waiter took 7mn to get are drinks an another 10MN to get are order. Not very friendly.

The food is outstanding and plenty of it. Best margaritas Ive ever have and usually on sale. Great wait staff and the owner is usually on site, making margaritas. My favorite Mexican restaurant in town.
