Sandwiches were pretty good! Lots of meat! However, I dont think it was worth the price. Mac salad and chicken noodle soup was excellent. I think my biggest complaint were the pickles. I love love love kosher dill pickles and was excited to see they had them. However they were COATED in the taste of sauerkraut. Im all for pickling your cucumbers in sauerkraut, but it wasnt advertised on grub hub that these were kosher dill pickled in sauerkraut. Maybe its our fault for not looking deeper into the pickles, but I couldnt even take two bites. Know that if ordering kosher dill, or possibly any of their pickles, theyre bathed in sauerkraut. If thats your thing however, look no further! Other than that, good food, not sure if we will be ordering again however due to the price and (personally) nasty pickles

If the phrase ‘Bigger is better’ is very dear to your heart, then Brooklyn Pickle is the deli for you. They serve what are, quite possibly, the biggest sandwiches north of the Carnegie Deli. While their prices are lower than what you would expect for the sheer quantity of food received, the quality of their sandwiches is not above average. The customer service also leaves much to be desired, as the people behind the counter always look like they wish they were somewhere else.

I dont know if they had an odd day or what, but today was the first and last time I try this place. Their iced tea and their freaking pickles both tasted absolutely off...rotten/spoiled off. I had to spit out my food and Im not one for dramatics. My entire group (5 in all) couldnt finish our food on account of how wrong it tasted. And their knish are pathetic...nuked (literally microwaved from being frozen) hockey pucks that are dry and flavorless. So disappointing.

Update: service has been much more friendly my last couple visits. Sandwiches have also been more on point. Changed from 3 to 5 star. The employees more times than not dont seem to want to be there. Very lethargic. Its like they are doing me a favor making a sandwich. The good has varied from meh or okay to excellent. Normally hate leaving a bad review, but management should really look at how they train and/or treat their staff.

Not sure why their pickles taste awful. I tried it a few years ago and thought it was awful as well and dismissed it as a bad batch of pickles, but tried it again and still tastes bad. Not to mention both times I got dirt in my pickles. The pickles slices that go on the sandwiches are amazing though. Also, they really need to address the way that the customer lines are done. It feels very disorganized and inefficient.

The food is wonderful, however, the service is terrible. A single take-out order was done incorrectly not once, but twice. We had to go pick up the second half of our order, only to find that it was incorrectly prepared once we got home (again). If you place an order for pickup, I suggest thoroughly double checking that it is correct before you leave. They couldnt issue a refund for the forgotten ingredients.

Huge delicious sandwiches, better dill pickles than Ive tasted anywhere. Lose one star for charging fifty cents for fountain soda refills when the fountain is in the customer area and not behind the counter. Id explain why this is a grievous violation of the social contract, but Im too full from the huge sandwich.

In true NYC deli fashion, the sandwhiches are piled high with your choice of fresh meat(s), the bread or rolls are always fresh and the pickles will really wake up your taste buds! Its tough to leave this place hungry! If youre a seafood fan I would highly recommend trying the Neptune stew!

this place has the BEST PASTRAMI in the world. its so tender it melts in your mouth. I cant believe anyone would say this place isnt great. they keep expanding the restaurant because demand is so high. (3x) only problem is that it is always crowded with repeat customers.

I have been going to the brooklyn pickle for 30 years and the amount of meat on my sandwich the last 4 times has continued to decrease and has made me decide that there will not be 5th time. There are too many great places to get a sandwich these days.

The pickles are crazy salty. The sandwiches are mayo filled slops. I felt intimidated ordering here. It was not easy to see what to ask for or where to go. The staff wasnt very helpful; I just wasnt impressed. They did have cool windows to catch a breeze.

soggy wonderbread and cold sandwiches-not even toasted! sandwiches are big and cold cuts are ok, but not great, pickles are not very good either. nothing you could not get done in 2 minutes at home, but I am sure it would be quite a bit better at home...

This was amazing. Decided to stop in and grab a BLT and the bread was fresh, the bacon was crisp and the vegetables were fresh. I will go there everytime I come to Syracuse. The service was excellent as well!!!

What else needs to be said, this place is infamous among the cuse, bust sandwiches you can buy. If you get the full sandwich its more than you can eat and doesnt bust the wallet either.

Amazing food and great staff. They get you through the line quickly although its really busy if you got it during the lunch rush. Great seating in and outside. I would recommend it 100%.

Fabulous sandwiches prepared on the hearty side. The food is prepared as you stand in line. Most customers take out, but there are tables to eat inside. The staff is quick and efficient.
