Why they are great: 1. The employees are helpful and friendly. Ex. I prepped to handle a flat tire I discovered in their parking lot, the Ingles manager noticed during his break and took time to help me change my flat tire. I frequently have pleasant conversations with cashiers as I check out and never have to search hard for help finding things. 2. It is beautifully renovated. 3. The deli selections are delicious and plentiful offering southern cuisine, sushi, made to order pizza, subs, Chinese, a wing bar, fruit bar, soups, gelato and a salad bar.

Could have been a better experience in the deli. Poor food handling practices and lack of training. Employees did not seem willing to help the customers. I also overheard complaints from employees about management cutting hours and the workload being too heavy while 5 of them stood behind the counter not helping customers. This Ingles needs to learn the basic art of customer service and that people have other choices when it comes to buying groceries.

Had to wait 15 minutes for chicken to be ready. The person who usually fries the chicken is on her lunch break was the reason I was given. Do your job before going on break should not have to wait that long.

The cashier was extremely unfriendly and I had to bag my own groceries in the cart while 3 mangers or staff was up in the office and saw me doing it and didnt bother to help or call for help. Awful staff!

The products I buy I can get cheaper at bi-lo. They also didnt sell quite a few products that I do buy so I wasnt able to do all my shopping anyway. It is very clean though so there is that.

Best $4.95 pizza in Spartanburg. You pick your sauce, cheese, meat, and toppings (onions pepper black olives mushrooms etc). Grilled chicken is wonderful on my pizzas.

Ingles usually has a decent selection and fair prices. Their bakery, deli, and meat department are not the best in town but this store is more convenient sometimes.
