Nice atmosphere. Coffee was excellent. Pastries were spot on. What I didnt like is my browser closing every 5 minutes. When Im using public WiFi in coffee shops I use a VPN to protect myself from people who exploit hapless victims on public WiFi. It seems like their WiFi does some sort of timed reboot or reset or something which forces my VPN to close Chrome completely, forcing me to reopen it again. It happened about every 5 minutes. This is a pain in the butt when working on a coding project that relies on a browser. Also, the eggplant sandwich was like chewing through shoe leather. It tasted fine but I was like a dog eating spaghetti and shoe laces as gobs of the eggplant kept coming out of the sandwich only to hang from my mouth like I was a goddamn savage. If you just want good coffee and atmosphere and you dont mind WiFi without a VPN (you should use a VPN), then this is the place for you. But if you have a VPN and have work to do, I suggest heading somewhere else. Personally, Im heading over to Kona Gold where the internet is dependable...while writing this my browser closed 4 times and the server froze up once. Lastly - the entrance into their parking lot looks like a missile strike zone in Aleppo. Not a fan of driving my car over multiple pot holes. But again, the coffee was on the money and the staff were good to go. So, Im unsatisfied with pretty much everything that wasnt coffee, staff and croissants.

Used to be my favorite coffee place, but they have scarred me a little with burnt milk in my cappuccino. It could have been and off day, but I stopped ordering that. I just get brewed tea or an ice toddy from time to time. I like the ambiance. People are awesome and the location is prime. You get the best of both worlds at any season. If you arent a coffee peraon, order tea. They have plenty of choices. I got their Darjeeling tea, but thats my favorite no matter what country Im in. They have snacks and some light breakfast items. So you wont go hungry. My friend likes the parfait. I like the scones, but they do run out pretty fast. Theres a lot of beautiful scenery with the river nearby and beautiful trees that have aged for wonderfully. The homes in the area are the cutest and the people walking and running by motivate you to do work.

phenomenal coffee and nothing less. oh wait ... did i mention how amazing the coffee is? its probably because the people who work there and run the place have their ear to the undercurrent of the emerging coffee tasting culture and there is something there for everyone. a delicious cup of solid black or maybe you are a caramel macca-whats-a-syrup with extra whip and the like... well they will serve you that also ... but they excel at providing a niche market of extravagant single origin coffees and delectably roasted beans from many prominent roasters from throughout the coffee roasting community. COFFEE lovers from around the North NV area - flock, repeat flock to this location!!!

Loved the coffee, the place looked good, and it was very cozy. Only complaint is that it smelled a lot like bleach... Or, like floor cleaning chemicals. When I enter a cafe 30% of the reason is to smell coffee. Not bleach. You could argue it was because it was like half an hour before they closed, so they were cleaning up. But couldnt they close a little earlier and THEN clean? Shouldnt there be customer satisfaction at all times? Idk. Thats the only problem I had with it. If it wasnt for that, this would be 5 stars.

I asked for an iced cappuccino and was told by the female barista that she couldnt do one, but I could have an iced latte. Since I didnt want a latte, I asked if she could just make a cappuccino and poor it over ice. I was then told by the male clerk "no we cant do that - were really particular about our coffee. Thats like asking a chef for a well done steak." Cool - apparently he thinks chefs and snotty baristas dont need to give customers what they like. So thanks for letting me know! Ill go somewhere else.

The owner was very rude to me. Ignored me when I was trying to order because he was training staff at the time. When I went back to my table came up and demanded me To order something. Earlier he has told me there were no outlets for computer to recharge and there were several where I was sitting. When I asked him about that he said he had forgotten. I felt unwelcome and targeted by him for some reason. He does no treat everyone the same way.

Hub Coffee Roasters is located about ten minutes off downtown casinos. The place feels more of a shack than a coffee place, but once you step in, its totally awesomeness. Go up a flight of stairs and youll be greeted with a homie vibe and more seating. Even the restroom is fully decorated. Workers are nice and service is efficient. Feeling adventurous? Grab some chocolate next door at Doras and pair it with your favorite drink.

Some of the best coffee Ive ever had. Very good roasts with incredibly diverse subtleties of flavor. If you expect a light or a medium not to taste like watery charcoal, this is one of the few places that seems to understand and oblige, while also providing a high degree of (frankly, almost pungent) flavor. I very much wish this place was in Boston, I might have to see if I can order some of their beans to be mailed.

Pretty good coffee, very small but specialized menu. Connected to hub tea bar, which also has some nice teas. The atmosphere is what you go hee for more than anything else. Clean, well lit with a nice park and the river right beside it. Theres also Dorindas chocolates and rolled icecream right next door of the small selection of baked goods here dont do it for you. They host local artwork also.

Great environment by the riverside, and lovely old building. Tea/food on one side of the building, coffee and baked goods on the other half. I travel for work, and am always looking for food coffee stops. This has become a favorite. In addition to the lovely setup, the coffee is GOOD, and employees are fun to talk coffee with. Especially appreciate when they are serving single-origin espresso.

Lovely little hole in the wall with great atmosphere and awesome people. The coffee, however, was so acidic and sour that it curdled the milk I used. I thought it had to be the milk, but it passed the sniff test. A fresh cup of coffee, cheerfully provided, tasted just as sour. They have other, better blends, though, as I tasted at a nearby restaurant.

I saw the reviews and stopped by for a coffee. It was nice to not see lines out the door in the morning and the baristas were great. I ordered a latte and it was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. With plenty of places to sit, inside and out, this was the perfect place to get a coffee. I ordered some espresso myself on the way out!

Nice atmosphere! Convenient location by the river, quaint, cozy and historic feeling. Theres a cute little handmade chocolate shop next door... Downside is things can get spendy and portion size is small in comparison to other coffee places. The cups and saucers just look big to make you think youre getting more. Overall nice place to visit.
