Food was ok but definitely not what I was so looking forward to. We went at 7:30 and most of the food was sold out. The jerk chicken is baked chicken (I was expecting grilled) with an extreme amount of jerk marinade which made it too spicy, probably not on purpose, (my husband is Jamaican so I know it should be). The rice and peas were made with blackeyed peas instead of traditional red kidney beans, red peas or gungo peas (pegion peas). Im visiting from the Bronx so I was looking for a taste of home. Prices for the amount of food are a bit high and the soda surely shouldnt be 2.25. Cabbage was delicious.

Ive tried a lot of Jamaican Jerk chicken places around the Country from , Brooklyn NY to Montreal, LA and Florida and even Colorado and none have matched the The Jerk chicken here. Some places drown jerk sauce on baked chicken and call it a day, not this place. You can tell the food is thoroughly seasoned and marinated to perfection. The outside doesnt look appealing but dont let that deter you. This is one of the best Jamaican food spots Ive been in a while. Worth every cent. I hope they stay open forever

Dont turn away because the building (outside and inside) isnt what you are used to in U.S. While I was waiting (about 10 minutes) it felt like I was in the islands. If youve never been there, I can honestly say Ive in many places in the Caribbean that look like this. It truly had an authentic island vibe. The small jerk chicken was a lot of food and had great flavor. Couldve had a few more plantains. Thanks for the great dinner.

The food is wonderful the people are so friendly. The prices are very good and they give u a lot of food for your money. I especially love the Curry Chicken its so flavorful and tender. My compliments to the chef. Thank you for bringing Caribbean food to the Poconos.

Great authentic west Indian food and the portions OMG I had some for lunch and the rest for dinner. This is a take out only place while there is a ledge on the wall that you could stand and eat at its probably not to comfy.
