Im gonna start off by saying how all of this experince was i think because I was not eating and not paying. This was by far my favorite restraunt to come eat at during my lunch at my high school Until today. Every time I have come and eaten here it has been an enjoyable time and good food for a cheap buffet. Every time I have come to Imperial House I have always eaten. But today I came in with 4 friends who were all eating, I didnt have any cash on me so I told them I wasent eating. The second I said this the women seating us got very mad and then turned around to show us to our table. Well we asked for a booth but she would not let us sit in a booth. Instead she pointed to a tiny table where only 4 could sit semi comfortably. Im a big guy 610 270 pounds and have a hard time sitting at normal sized tables. But this wasent even the worst part. She then pointed to a table about 5 feet away and said Im going to have to sit there. I asked her "Cant we just push this small table and the normal table together. She snapped at me "No way this will not work at all go sit there" she replied. We eventually got her to let me pull up a chair and we all crammed in. So my friends get food and not even a bite into it she runs back over "You pay before you take bite. Pay now". This got me really mad but Im not one for conflict so Im writing this review to let you all know my terrible experience. After this the rest of the meal was fine. Its sad to see how a good place like Imperial House has a women who is this rude just because you are not paying. Sad to see this place headed DOWN HILL!!!

The food is delicious, not at all greasy as is often the case with Chinese food. The place is immaculately clean. The prices are reasonable. During weekdays, they have a buffet. Instead of putting out large volumes of food that quickly get stale, they make small batches and set them out so its always fresh. This is a new restaurant, so I hope people try it.

$7.29 for the lunch buffet. Peppered chicken, coconut shrimp, and some kind of chicken with lots of vegetables on it with all the cream cheese wontons you can eat?! There are other buffet menu items, but the three I listed seem like the hottest/freshest whenever I drop by. Quality to price, this funny little Chinese spot is hard to beat.

Tried the buffet at $7.29. The food with very good with authentic Chinese stretch noodles, tender beef and tender chicken dishes. Egg tarts for dessert are to die for. I was impressed with the Asian decor and light bright cheery atmosphere. This is definitely a place I will go back as a regular, great food and reasonably priced.

My favorite Chinese place in all of MN. When we moved away we tried all the local places near us, but none compare. As often as we can we take the 30 minute drive each way just for Imperial House. *Yum* Our favorites are the Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, Lo-Mein, Plain Chow Mein, and Egg Rolls.

High quality buffet, very fast, friendly... I work in the neighborhood, and enjoy lunch here at least once a week. An excellent neighborhood Asian restaurant. Never a bad experience in over 50 visits.

Permanently closed. Looks like its changed hands and is opening sometime as Fresh Wok, since that is the sign that is up. Sign on door stated closed 1/12/17 through 1/17/17 but as of today, not open.

I went their for the lunch buffet and it was excellent. $7.29 for lunch M-F. Soda is $2 extra. Small but everything on the buffet is good quality
