It was as if the entire staff was angry that they had customers. I stood there, next to the "please wait to be seated" sign for 10 minutes, and there were plenty of free tables, just nobody wanted to bother. There were staff members in the room who looked at me, glared, and then walked into the back to leave me waiting. When I was finally seated I wasnt given any instruction on the bar or any offer of soda, just 2 glasses and a glare. The tandoori chicken was slightly spicy and actually pretty great, but it was hard to eat because I needed water and it took them 15 minutes to fill my glass, and then they never refilled it. They had mango lassi as part of the buffet, but it was the worst Id ever had. I love mango lassi, I could/would live on it if I could; but this was awful: bland, thick, and mildly warm. I couldnt finish a glass. Even when I was leaving I was struck by how rude the staff was. The woman I paid my bill to just struck me as so unpleasant, no smile, no "have a nice day" -- she just wanted my money and to act angry that I was bothering her. I got the message, I wont go back.

We made the mistake of coming back to this restaurant after previously having to wait forever for our food. This time, with 8 adults & 4 children, we ordered & waited 40 minutes while we saw 5 tables of people come in, order, eat & leave. Finally, we asked where our food was & the owner shouted at us that we were a big order, some dishes were ready, some werent, theyd be out when they were ready. Another ten minutes went by - we asked them to just send out the dishes that were ready, our children were starving, & we were actually refused. There were 4 waiters in that tiny awful place & they were actually smiling & laughing at us as they went in & out of the kitchen. After one hour, we finally got up & left - never having been served. The owner actually shouted at us as we left "Good, dont you ever come back here!" No one should ever have to suffer the completely unnecessary rudeness that we had to endure at this place.

Let me say first off that the food did taste amazing. If that was all there was to this review it would be 5 stars. The lamb samosas were also incredible. However, service was abysmal, the server spent most of our meal on her phone, even when taking our order. I order the chicken tandoori and my wife ordered the goat curry. My chicken was served on the bone, which is no huge deal but it would be nice to have that mentioned in the menu. My wifes curry also had bones in it, which is hard to tell in an opaque sauce. That could be really dangerous. My wife also ordered chai tea that didnt arrive till the end of the meal and was so over steeped it tasted like soap. It came in what I can only call an esspreso cup and cost over $3. If they hadnt removed it from my bill this would be a 1 star review.

Weve been to this place a few times and its usually pretty good if you can get past the rude waiter who reaches over your plate as you as eating to refill your water glass. However, the last time we went there I unfortunately ate something that was not clean. The other people I went with were fine, but I got some serious food poisoning. Ive never had such an intense stomach pain for so many hours, along with vomiting. We were all sharing the dishes but the people in the rest of my party were fine. We managed to pinpoint the food culprit as being the yogurt sauce that accompanied my entree, as I was the only one to eat it, perhaps it was sitting out too long. Understandably, I wont be returning here again.

Feb 7, 2015 This place is awful; dont waste your money and treat your taste buds so poorly. We ordered the paneer chilli, tadka dhaal, channa masala, and "bhatura", chicken lollypop [sic], and naan. The only tolerable item was the rice that comes with the entrees. Everything was bland, underspiced, and even misflavored. The so-called bhatura were thick and chewy pads of dough (probably the frozen ones from haldiram microwaved). The chicken lollipop (yeah, thats how its spelled correctly) was truly awful. Basically unflavored fried chicken with red coloring that leaves a doughish taste in the mouth. I apologize to those before me who had to endure the food here.

“Good option in buffet...” I went there for the buffet so this is a review for that. I did not try ala carte yet. A buffet is $15 on Friday, nearby restaurants charge $10 so compared to that, expensive. Courteous staff, good ambience… mirror on the whole wall makes u feel like this is a big restaurant. There was 4 option in Nonveg starters (i like malai kabab and chapali kabab) and as a usual poor option for veg fellas. 2-3 option in both veg and nonveg entree. Mango juice (too much sugar) along with gulab jamun very good) and gajar ka halwa (just ok). I liked the food but $15 is a bit more for the buffet.

Went here with friends and experience was better than last time. Desserts had variety and were really tasty. There was a puffins chutney with raw mango mixed and it was the best thing I had today. I eat here many times and usually one or two items used to be odd or not good in taste but not today (probably due to weekend traffic). My friend had non-veg and he was satisfied with curries. Staff was courteous and Happy minded. Did not bother to much as we were sitting and chatting post closing hours. Good price point too for ~14 weekdays and ~16 weekends for buffet.

Horrible experience. Food is really bad, been a while since i such tasteless food. None of the items have flavor. The naan and puri are cold and brittle, the rice and biryani are dry and tasteless, none of the curries or appetizers are good. The service is pathetic too, they dont smile or make eye contact , the cook with dirty looking clothes keeps walking here and there while you eat, makes you wonder what kind of cleanliness he might followed while cooking. When they charge so much thy should have minimum sense to provide atleast hot and decent food.

Ordered takeout recently at this restaurant and was told my order would be ready in 25 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant, they told me it would be another 15 minutes...then another 15 minutes. Forty-five minutes later, I got my food. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a film of oil on top and the samosas were extremely overcooked. For the prices they charge, the service and food should be extremely good. Sad to say but I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The lunch buffet is wonderful, I belive it costs $13.95. Ill admit Im not well-versed in Indian food, but the selection and quality were great, particularly for the price. Popular with the local workers for the lunch rush. I will note that my Indian coworkers prefer other restaurants in the area over this. Perhaps its because there arent too many dishes outside of the "American" variety? Regardless, I love this place and will gladly gorge myself on Tikka Masala and Samosas.
