My visit lead to the worst GI infection Ill probably ever experience in my life, starting sharply in the AM following my night visit to the grille. Three days after eating there, I had a 4am visit to Blodgett Hospitals ER, where after a lengthy stay, an examination, and receiving a CT scan, the doctor reported the cause to be food from Bonefish. After taking him through the events leading up to this illness, little doubt remained who the culprit was. After missing a week of class and work, I had approached the managing partner very politely with no list of demands other than to request to see if there was any way to be reimbursed for time off of work, medical bills, and the meal. This was received and passed along to the insurance company who oversees their liability claims. The man I spoke with from the insurance agency was kind and seemed sympathetic, offering a friendly tone that seemed to want to help. After being reassured I would be offered a form to fill in my time lost at work, and forwarding my hospital papers, as he asked, I received no response and my numerous inquiries to both the restaurant and Gallagher Basset (insurance) have fallen on deaf ears. I inquired with kindness and professionalism. I demanded nothing and still demand nothing, I simply want a response to see if its possible to receive reimbursement for damages. I made it clear that my experience was extremely painful for a number of days. It was awful. I did not walk in their with a tone, in fact, I did my absolute best to advocate for them following this whole thing, and they are well aware of that. They never disputed my claim, they truly lead me to believe they cared for a customer, which I was extremely impressed with. I have left several voicemails just seeking an update with both the insurance rep and the managing partner of Bomefish, both to no avail over the last month. Ive also emailed the insurance rep several times, kindly asking for an update with zero responses. I was told I would hear back, and I have not heard back. I wont be returning to this establishment. The ownership doesnt deserve my dollar. I dont expect perfection, I just expect to have a little communication after the worst food poisoning ever that was clearly caused by the seafood (shrimp) consumed at your restaurant. They screwed up my order anyway. I ordered the Tuna Bowl, not Shrimp Pad Thai. Sheesh. Never offering to eat the wrong meal again..

My first time to the Bonefish Grill was horrible. We first started off with bang bang shrimp which was amazing , but a lady who was not our waitress brought us bread and another thing of bang bang shrimp, this Bonefish Grill needs to work on organization . Our waitress was never at our table we waited like 10 mins for her to remove our plates and to get ous water. Then we order lamb chops. Which literally looked like lamb with barbeque sauce poured on it. I cut open into my lamb and put it into my mouth and started chewing, however it was completely raw. We asked our waitress if they could recook it and so they did. But some of our lamb was still raw. Our total came out to about 70.00 for raw lamb that wasnt cooked properly. They need to find someone who knows how to make lamb because i could fo it with my eyes closed. The waitress was nice but she took forever because she spent a long time talking to other tables about things that were not relavent what so ever. I will definitely not return to the Bonefish Grill in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Day: Friday evening. Busy, good idea to make reservations Ambiance: calm, clean, romantic Demographic: diverse, mostly elderly Service: great. We made reservations ahead of time so we were seated right away even though we were 15 min late. Server was very attentive and friendly. Food Presentation: Poor. All glassware was dirty on the outside and food hanging out of the bowls. Dirty utensil handles. Food: Ordered Fillet Mignon, Sauteed spinach, green beans, Rainbow Trout, coleslaw, and Sashimi. None of it was good. The filet was cooked medium well as requested but had no flavor of any kind. It was a bland slab of meat. Spinach tasted dirty. Green beans were OK. Trout was bland and oily. Sashimi was not flavorful and just plain disappointing. Coleslaw went untouched. Normally, Id order desert but with the food being so mediocre, Im sure desert will be too. They didnt have many desert options anyway. Never going here again.

First off, what a wonderful place to dine at!!! It was my first time going to Bonefish Grill with a girl on a first date, and everything was absolutely amazing!!! Our server Jordon C was wonderful and funny, was regularly by our table asking if we needed anything always at the right moments. :D The atmosphere was that of a fine dining restaurant, but in a laid back, casual sense. The food was delicious, and we were quite happy that the cooks were able to work around her peanut allergy. I had made a reservation for 7 pm and we were seated around 7:02 pm even with the place being as busy as it was. Would highly suggest making a reservation if you are thinking about going, the average wait time for walk-ins was around 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The food was a little pricey, but everything was well worth the money. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone thinking about eating here!!

Bonefish grill was FANTASTIC, to say the least! When we walked in the hostesses were friendly and acknowledged us right away. As we walked to the table I couldnt help but appreciate the upscale, clean, romantic atmosphere. I would come here for any occasion! Our server Ana-not sure how to spell it-was so kind and relaxed that I never felt rushed or brushed off; I felt pampered!! Let me get started on food. The drink specials rocked my world, the menu was enough to send me into a pre-food coma and dessert topped it off. We had drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert -everything was so incredible. From presentation to flavor, I was blown out of the water. To finish the night, the manager brough me a gift to help me celebrate my recent college graduation and personally congratulated me. I Was a server for over 6 years and I tip my hat to Bonefish Grill, you are doing it right.

While we waited 30 minutes for a table, the manager brought around Calimari and steak bites for everyone. They served drinks right there while you were waiting so you didnt have to wiggle your way through the crowd to the bar. Once seated, the table service was great. (They did mess up our first drink order, but other than that, it was excellent). The calimari appetizer that we ordered was delicious, the warm bread excellent. We were there with friends and were able to have conversation readily. The Lobster Pad Thai was "AWESOME" according to my boyfriend, the Steak and Lobster with the Jasmine Rice was excellent, our friends did the two fer deal they had that night. We split a key lime pie which finished up an excellent meal. I would recommend calling for reservations.. :)

Best restaurant for seafood lovers or steak lovers....great to get away from the riff raff and noise of your typical family restaurant...yet not so expensive as the "chop houses" All the food is prepared with love and care and has actual great taste and wonderful seasoning. Bang Bang Shrimp is great of course. But I love the steaks that are made perfectly to order. Only restaurant I have ordered steak in that hasnt had to be sent back because of being to rare..I order medium. Dress nice, and be a part of the latest trend in fine dining. For 3 people be prepared to drop about $130 plus tip. Only negative is they are not open for lunch except weekends.
