First time we try it (Saturday night dinner). Great variety on the menu so everyone found what they liked. was great to see they had thali plates. I took the non-veggie and my wife took the veg plate. We both liked it a lot, really good. Plates came samosa, rice and naan. Could also choose between mild, medium or hot for the spiciness, again great since our family goes from mild to hot and we can rarely find an indian place that works for all. Probably the best indian weve had in the area at a fair price.

What a fantastic new find. We just got back from the UK 3 weeks ago and we were craving a good Ruby-Murry. We love Star of India, but just didnt fancy the 95-141 drive. These guys rock. The lunch buffet is by far the best Ive eaten in a long time in the Wilmington-Newark area. Take -out has been flawless and they even managed to deliver to my 16-year old..... with a smile. The chef (lived in London for 10-years) really understands his craft and should never, ever consider moving. Keep it up

Im usually very picky about which indian restaurants I choose to eat from since Im Desi but Taj Mahal exceeded my expectations. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was calming and the manager made us feel like we were VIPs even though it was our first time visiting. He deserves 10 stars. The spice level was perfect. I choose my level of spice according to how my gut is feeling so I didnt go too crazy but dont worry next time Ill be sure to go all out.

The best buffet place in the area. Went there 5 times and never had a bad experience. This place makes quality food, not just serving 10 dishes that are unedible. They have a good veg and non-veg variety. Their naan is always fresh and super tasty (you have to ask them for it). Also, they refill drinks as soon as you finish. They could improve their appetizers (a bit too oily), but their main dishes are exceptionally good. Love the chutney table. Staff are super friendly.

I had booked it for my sons birthday party and just 30 mins before the start time, that guy refused for the party order. I had given him advance of 200 dollars as well. In the party hall they had kept some junk stuffs like old chairs, tables and big old dumpster kind of boxes. When asked to remove them from the hall he refused and even was refusing from having the party there. When confronted he became rude and abusive. Poor management, rude staff.

AWESOME FOOD & SERVICE X-CELENCY. I went to the restaurant 1 week ago with my work Colligue at Lunch time and enjoyed the superb buffet . All the foods were warm and very delicious. My Colligue went there 1st time and seemed very pleased with the food and service though that was my 5th time. I strongly recommend you to visit there if you want to enjoy the food at a pleasant environment with your friends & family. Thank you Taj Mahal

This is the best Indian restaurant in Delaware. No competition, none. We ordered chicken tika masala, chickpea saag, goat curry, garlic naan and pappadam which was added after order was placed. It was a takeout order . Each entrée was succelent and spoke volumes about chefs mastery of the flavor profiles. Apparently the mix grill is worth trying as well, but we have to wait till next time.

Easily the best Indian food Ive ever had. Its full of flavor and the most refined Indian food Ive ever tasted. Its in a somewhat unimpressive shopping strip, so to have such refined food is quite a surprise. The people who own and work there are very friendly and give very good service. A hidden gem. Get takeout from here all the time and it never disappoints, some of the best Indian food Ive had in Delaware! The veggie samosas are a great deal and always a nice level of spice when we order at the medium level instead of some places that make it bland.
