First birthday celebration went wrong. I have booked party hall on sep 12 for My kids first birthday on sep 24. They made our first birthday party as bad by giving dining room instead of party hall using their poor room reservation logic on last minute. They have showed us a good party hall with ample lights, enough space & decoration wall during reservation So we booked but they have changed the party hall on function day. they have showed a small room at 3 PM which didnt had proper lighting. Switches werent worked. Then they showed dining hall. What to do in last minute. I said ok :( We are not able to take good photos. Took photos in less light since its a dining hall. Room is small so photos are showing the dust bin :( Not able to decorate well. Walls are not good. We planned and bought things for booked room. But they collapsed everything and saying we gave that hall for bigger party. None of american restaurant change party hall in last minute. they have admitted your mistake as many staff handled this reservation but we affected at last. Everyone asked why you agreed for dining hall instead of party hall. I agreed since dont want to start function with fight. They did another mistake, they filled spoons, glasses in all tables. Less space also. Everyone didnt have place to sit properly. Poor sitting arrangement. How functions will start normally? Everyone will sit, speak with friends once function got over then they will go for dinner. so people didnt sit properly. Everyone felt discomfort. Kids not able to play well due to lack of space. Helium balloon decoration went wrong due less height. They didnt kept enough plates, used plate collection box. I should have cancelled the order immediately. but they are taking this advantage since people will accept in last minute. I know we paid for food only but we are upset and unhappy about their hospitality. Handling people and words are important. Regards, Ramakrishnan

Normally I wont write any reviews. But I had to write this so that it may benefit others before choosing this restaurant. We ordered a vegetable biriyani tray for our party. The biriyani was spoiled. Smell was very bad. Definitely it was not freshly prepared. Teja asked us to come to restaurant at 5:30. I think he is the manager.The cashier was very rude. He wants us to call Teja. Teja didnt pick the call. He asked us to wait. We waited for 20 min. Again no response from Teja and the cashier says he cannot do anything with out Teja confirming the amount. The cashier talks as if he is not working there. Why a customer has to wait for such a long time after getting bad food. Is it not his responsibility to fix the problem. Is it not the responsibility of Teja to inform the cashier the moment he asked us to come at Restaurant. Another Hindi speaking guy joins the cashier telling we do not have any contract with Godavari. Why a customer should know all these.. When I ask why should I know that he says I am wrong.. I have never seen any one who runs restaurant business behaving this way.. Very Very bad experience. Instead of being sorry, he was blaming Customer.. Please be aware that this restaurant is not customer friendly and the food is spoiled. If you are not careful. It might cause food poison..

Ordered togo for a Veg Briyani and got Chicken Briyani. When called to restaurant about this, they didnt even ask for any apology and just told that they will bring Veg Briyani for delivery. From my perspective this is very costly mistake. But they are treat this situation like they dont care if this happens again or not. If happened, giving another dish will satiate the mistake and would keep the customer silent. Fortunately, I noticed it before eating while transferring to plate. I dont want to change into a non vegetarian just for a carelessness of these people. I understand mistakes are common. But they should also understand the severity of this and should make sure that they never do this again. Buy togo box and plates with say green color for distributing vegetarian dishes which will resolve this. There is always a solution to any problem. If you want to build good reputation you should bring down such mistakes and adopt prevention plan like the one suggested which will satisfy diverse customers like me. Still giving two stars to be fair on other factors. I will revisit my rating based on the restaurants mitigation to this.

Went there twice in a span of three days and both times service has been exceptionally pathetic. Food is good but their service is very poor. They get food very late and the employees are not available when ever we call for them. The curries go cold by the time you get your phulkas and flatbreads... They are reluctant to help when asked about the delay. Im still here at Godavari now, ordered my food at 7:50 pm and its 9:30 pm now and Im still waiting to be served. When I finally found some employee to talk to, he said we have to come at 6:30 PM to get food by 9. The first time I came here, they made us wait for more than an hour before being served and replied that kitchen is closed when we tried to order something extra after our dinner. We were there with a lot of time to spare, yet because of their delay we did not get what we wanted to order. Very disappointed with this place.

Today I went for a week end special buffet with My friends we had buffet and I Also ordered veg biryani as to go order for home .My friend who is a doctor advised me that the veg biryani is stale and dont ordered so we wanted to cancel the veg biryani but the waiter said some times they use old food in Biryani for buffet but our Togo order will be prepared fresh as there is big party in another hall.We trusted the waiter and for the veg biryani home .At home when we opened the biryani we could smell the spoiled potatoes and food was stale and not hygienic at all . We had to throw the food in trash and got sub way for my family member .Think before you eat you might be eating leftovers.

Food is actually not that bad. Sharing our experience on a weekend buffet. The confusion and chaos however puts you off. You dont know where to sit, how to proceed to a buffet, nobody welcomed us and directed us about where and when to get your dosa n all....and why in the world you have your dosa bar right at the entrance. Please for love of God, write the name of the dish in English "words" that make sense, not in English letters.....Thats for the bad part... Food wise...great variety available..not necessarily they taste as they are supposed to taste but they are not downright horrible.. Great desert selection

I went there for lunch with my family today and there was only buffet available. As we seated the waiter forgot the silverware and glasses, after reminding him twice he brought our cutilary. Then as we proceeded to the buffet there were numerous empty pans of labeled vegetarian Indian food, the pans that had vegetarian Currys and briyani were cold when taking the first bite. After mentioning this to the waiters on staff we still did receive warm edible food to eat. This restaurant is not a edible restaurant to eat a quality warm meal at. I highly suggest of not going and wasting your time and money.
