We are members at the gardens, and like to come eat here every so often (maybe 4 times a year?). The hostess is amazing, and service is usually pretty good. Their menu is always solid. They typically have many local and seasonal options, such as cheeses and produce. Plating is typically precise and well done. Their bread is great, kids love it. At our last visit, we found two of our entrees to be a bit weak: the duck confit grilled cheese, and the BBQ pork crepes. Both are great concepts, but the execution needed perfection. The preserves on the grilled cheese needed to be much more tart, and applied more liberally to the bread. The crepes were quite good: the BBQ inside of them was pretty standard, and was oversauced. The salmon dish was great, though (I am a sucker for black garlic).

We were excited to go, the menu looked great. Unfortunately the dishes were mostly just looks, and despite the exceptionally beautiful gardens the restaurant itself lacked ambiance. My wife and I ordered several dishes to share. I wish I could say we were impressed by one of them. The service was just fine, hopefully after they renovate the fountains, theyll renovate the restaurant, and hire a world class chef on par with the gardens...

My family went here for Chrismas day dinner. We all ordered filet mignon with lobster, $62 each dinner. The portion size was the skimpiest and smallest we ever had and the lobster was over cooked. Terrible experience , will never return ever again ! The food is so overpriced for poor quality . The chefs and management should be ashamed . Will tell all my friends never to attend .

This was my first time coming to the 1906, and the food was amazing! Best I have Ever had! The pricing was a little expensive, but totally worth it.The waiters and waitresses were super nice, and my favorite part of the whole dinner was the dessert... OMG, it was so good!!! I got the flower pot dessert, and it was the most divine thing that I had ever tasted!

Truly creative takes on classic dishes. Pricey but absolutely delicious and well-portioned for the price. Creative and tasty vegetarian options. Friendly service. Seasonal and locally sourced produce, protein, and dairy. Some produce is grown on site. Elegant atmosphere without requiring formal attire. Perfect for anniversaries and date nights.

Good food, but EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. We went the day after Christmas. It was packed. Tables were jammed in too close to one another. Took my fiance for a walk through the gardens..it was way overcrowded and then the restaurant was jammed with no intimate table settings. Very disappointed in Longwood this year.

I used to get dragged here as a kid and I didnt like it very much. When we went a few months ago there was a whole section devoted to kids. An area where kids can play around with water and makes lots of noise. A very big improvement and my kids had a blast.

Food heres delicious, and the themed dishes were a nice touch (bread in a pot, flower pot dessert). Always an experience to get to eat the food thats grown on site/nearby. Only complaint is there was a fly that kept buzzing around our food, very annoying.

Better off eating before coming to the gardens...overpriced, tasteless...undercooked potato salad...dried out sandwiches...wet and soggy and nasty tasting brownies. The best part of the meal was the bottled drink and the bag of chips.

Wonderful restaurant inside of Longwood Gardens. They have excellent cream of mushroom soup. The brunch we had today was one of the best brunches we have had in awhile. Will deffently go again and highly recomend.

The food was pretty good, you have to get the flower pot desert. We felt incredibly rushed, we could have been in and out with 4 courses in a little over an hour. They need to slow down.

It is very pretty, but also very loud with a lot of people roaming. The flowers, trees and grounds are nice but the cafe food can end up being expensive. A fun day trip for the family!
