Honestly, would never go back. Very bad selection. Usually I settle for a few common Chinese dishes like mei fun (rice noodles) and crab Rangoon but their versions were downright bad. We didnt go right before closing either. Dry, flavorless food. The service was not great either. They gage us our drinks then sat at the tables next to us and talked in their native language. They paid no mind to us, didnt ask us how we were doing, didnt even make eye contact. As they walked past theyd grab our empty plates and continue talking. We didnt tip because why would we tip someone who acts like they deserve something they didnt work for? Sorry but no.

I usually get take out, which is always exceptional; especially the crab Rangoon! The portions are large enough to save half for another meal. On a few occasions I have eaten at the buffet which is also very good. The prices are reasonable too. The actual decor of the restaurant is pretty typical and nothing to get too excited about, but the great food makes up for where the decor is lacking.

whoever the older gentlemen is he needs to stop treating all the female employees like their dogs. he screamed at one for the first 20mins we were there. food was good nothing special really, but theaggravating part about it is the waitresses dont even let you hardly put your fork down before they grab your plate or bowl,whatever you were eating off of. but it was OK

Good quality Chinese and some American food with a solid variety of dishes. Staff is friendly and attentive, keeping drinks full and the dining room clean. Prices and hours are typical for the area. The real differentiator is the desserts, from the typical bland pastries, to pudding and jello cubes, to hand-dipped ice cream sundae bar.

My wife and I have eaten at almost every Chinese restaurant in B-Town....This one is by far the best...Someone here knows how to cook and the place is clean, the food is excellent and the staff courteous and attentive. This will be my go-to place for Chinese from now on!!!

The food was fine. Not impressed how the Staff/ Owner treated a couple with their service dog. They were asked not to come back with the dog that is helping to assist a person to walk. Not OK , not cool. I will not be recommending this place of business.

I think The China Star is my favorite place to eat of all. The food is excellent! The selection on the buffet is unbelievable! And the atmosphere of the restaurant and decor is very nice. Considering all this, the price is very reasonable.

We went there the past two Sundays and place is always crowded. Food is standard Chinese/American fare but good quality and food is hot and fresh. Staff very friendly and good service. Well definitely be back here.

Ive been to the biggest Chinese buffet in Nashville Tennessee, and even so, my family and I still prefer china star. Love the food. They have the best tasting crab ragoon that Ive found so far.

They have a great buffet with a large selection, as well as a really good salad bar and dessert options. Hand dipped ice cream rather than the standard soft serve found at most buffets .
