first off the directions are wrong its across the road from the harley dealership, second of all: my bf and i went there for our 2 year anniversary we love diners, little homely places that usually have GREAT food...this place #1 over priced EVERY THING by atleast 50%, a 10 piece appetizer tray...cost 14$, now about that appetizer tray...it came with 2 mozzarella sticks that were hardly warm, 2 stuffed clams which were on fire hot, 4 potatoe pancakes which cant be screwed up...and 2....."stuffed mushrooms"...the mushrooms were FROZEN!!!!!!, we told the waitress she said they cant be theyre fresh..i gave her a look like i wanted to say..."lady my 3month old daugher can tell ure full of crap"...she told the cook...and she said he was busy ..."so ill microwave them"...YOU WILL WHAT?!?!?!?!....omg..no...so at this point the bf and i are thinking if the appetizer tray was this bad...what will his fish and shrimp taste like...and my ceasar salad....well my salad was that..all leafy 4 tiny pre-fab (every thing was prefab and just re-heated). strips of chicken...his fish was almost mushy in the middle and the shrimp aside from still having the poop-shoots intact were breaded in god knows what b/c the breading was falling off in large chunks and was ice cold...i even asked him...."how do u deep fry some thing and it comes out an ice cube still?!?!?!"...and the hush puppies were pretty much mush inside as well....i felt awefull he spent 40$s on the worst food ive ever eaten ...we both agree the best part of the meal were the drinks..and the best part of the night...WAS LEAVING THERE!!!!...we celabrated our anniversary night right though...we got the hell away from that awefull place and had the best tasting (bought from weis) cake.

This small diner on the side of the highway has a cozy feel to it. Established in 1985, Six East Diner has the classic look youd expect and the owner, Paul Wanas, knows how to run it. I came in and saw him sit down with customers, go outside to shovel snow, water plants, etc. He doesnt seem like the type of guy to sit around and have everyone do it for him. That says a lot about his work ethic. Which leads me to the service, it was great. Kenny, the waiter who served me, was extremely kind and helpful, checking up on me periodically with a big smile making sure everything was ok. Id definitely recommend this place if youre looking for good food and a decent price with great service. Ask for Kenny.

Excellent food, great selection of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fast and friendly service every time, in addition to being in a convenient, easily accessible location on the highway. All-American old style diner. Be sure to stop in here.
