Our family googled this sub shop and decided to take a chance on it. We are so glad we did! Not only was the food fantastic but not just one but everyone working there was friendly and answered all our questions regarding the menu and preparation of the food. People care what they are eating and how and who is preparing it. Good food prepared in a clean manner and tasteful way by people who enjoy serving their customers will see them return again and again. guys, just want to thank you for the best cheeseburgers my husband and i have ever had. just wish we would have known about you a long time ago. the fries were the best we have ever had too. but besides the great food we found some very friendly, sweet people that we enjoyed talking to, your staff is wonderful. we also purchased a wooden bearded face that we put on our mantle that is awesome. we will be making a trip from bryson city probably once a week. thank you for everything, you are great. PLEASE MOVE TO BRYSON. love ya guys.

Ive been to The Sub Shop twice now, and I love it. Courteous service, and I have my sandwich in no time. I have gotten a "steak, onions, and cheese" both times, but with different cheeses and veggies. These were both better than any other cheesesteak sandwich I have ever had, and Ive had my fare share of cheesesteaks. I fear Ill never try anything else there because I love that sandwich so much, but Im confident that the menu holds more gems. Also, the pricing is competitive to say the least. Kudos to you Smoky Mountain Sub Shop!

The 12" Meatball sub was on special for January at only $3.99 and one of the BEST meatball subs Ive ever had. There were meatballs in every bite, the bread was perfectly toasted, the sauce and cheese were hot but not enough to scald your mouth and they topped it off with oregano and Parmesan. The place is nice enough to take your family in for lunch, there is plenty of seating and the staff is really nice too. Im really glad I found this place.

We have been eating here for a few years now and we have never had a bad meal. The food is delicious, hearty, and reasonably priced. My friend and I dont eat meat, and they have some delicious vegetarian sandwiches! My favorite is probably the eggplant parmesan. The owners and staff are very welcoming and always have a smile and nice word for us. If you live in the area or you are visiting you need to check them out!

My wife and I ate here a couple of weeks ago. The owners were very friendly to us, even gave us a free snack at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is decent with nice music, the food was just perfect. Forget Subway this sub shop is much, much better.. The next time we are in Waynesville we will return to this wonderful place.

My wife and I had reservations in about half an hour when our three-week-old began screaming to be nursed. They graciously let us hang out and chopped up a toasted cheese sandwich as a sort of appetizer for the main meal. They also have a pretty good selection of drinks, but that was secondary to how well we were treated.

I really enjoy their food and the owners are always there, nice poeple. It is hard to beat the mushroom steak sub with cheese and their cuban sub is quite tasty also. I actually like that they dont take cards.....the town of waynesville doesnt either but no one is complaining about that.

I just had the best sandwich I have had in a very very long time. I had the bacon, lettuce and fried green tomato on multi grain bread. OMG it was absolutely fabulous. I was totally full before I finished it but it was so good I could not stop eating. Great sandwich guys!

Best damn sandwich Ive ever had and a great selection of rare sodas. Also, a great collection of sauces to try. Very chill place, great friendly service. Did I mention BEST DAMN SANDWICHES EVER?? Really...theyre that damn good.

The staff were very friendly and the food was just excellent.. Try their BBQ pulled pork sandwich it is out of this world! The Pretzel bread is really good, get it on a sandwich if you can. Worth the stop we will be back..
