Worst Place I have EVER been! I read the reviews and gave this place a chance. I will never go back. When I called and placed my order the waitress repeated what I said. After I got there I waited at the door and did not recieve a greeting. Also its not like the place was busy. They only had 3 customers and I was number 4. Once I had my food the lady told me to wait 5 more mintues to get part of my order thatthey forgot to pack and my other food item where on the counter getting cold. When I made it home which I live only a mile or so away from this place some of my food was cold and I had the wrong dinner. When I called back the lady stated I could bring my food back and she can charge me for the difference for her mistake! She also stated that she assumed that I wanted the dinner they gave me instead of what I acutually ordered. Even though she repeated what I said. Then I spoke to her manager the next morning and that was no help. I dont know what one would expect from a resturant but at least if I am going to pay insane amount of money for dinner I would expect to get the correct HOT meal!!!

I really dont have anything to complain about concerning Golden Kirin. The food was a fair price, there was plenty of it, and it tasted fine. Granted, the menu is a bit simplistic and the food isnt superb, but still, its an okay place. I ordered beef lo mein. The beef was a decent cut, in good amount, and had a nice flavor. The lo mein was a bit tougher than expected, but the sauce and veggies blended well with it. Ive had better - even significantly better - lo mein with deeper flavor profiles, but Ive also paid twice as much for it. The wife had beef with sprouts, which was a similar dish but with a different sauce. We both thought our entrees were above average. The weakest link was the pork fried rice. The only significant flavoring was the soy sauce and/or sesame oil. The veggies, pork, and other accompaniments were in minuscule amounts. In short, if youre hungry and short on cash, Golden Kirin would be on my shortlist. Otherwise, Im going to go Sichuan on N.W. Military.

3-5-2016 lady that took my order was rude..I felt like I was a nuisance to place my order..so Im paying almost 13 bucks for a dinner and I ask for a different soup..no substitutions is what Im told..lol..I ask for sweet tea..nope they dont do that either...the lady points at a table to signal where to sit and wait like Im a lil kid...Im 32 years old..I asked how long and was told rudely 15 minutes...so I leave and come back to get food and they put the drink in the bag with the rest of the food and proudly told me how small the drink was...if this experience couldnt get any worse I get home and my "steak" was tiny as you know what and salty and chewy..gross..the portion of lemon chicken was horrible...these comments about good portioning are b.s....I barely had a few tiny pieces of pork in my pork fried rice...the only thing good was the egg roll..never will I go back..I just wanted to try somewhere new and this place failed big time...the cashier is a B!/$&

Great chinesse restaurant very affordabble and healthy food. New update 02/15/17 Letter to business owner. For manny months i have ask you to seek help your restaurant is a sensation people love it, i love it the food n prices. But you need to hire staff to clean tables n floors. You waitress staff cant take care of everything is crazy n makes you business look bad... too Manny tables dirty n people in lines outside waiting to get in, but cant get it cause the waitress are busy serving food. You force them to clean tables too. Why? Do they get 2 salaries? If not hire someone to keep the place clean n going. Also dont just stand and look at your staff getting things done. Help them. This is a letter from a customer who is feed up already with the way you run your business. Cause it makes us the customers not happy... if you care make some changes..

this is probably the best chinese food I ever had... I would consider this a chinese cafe... not very fancy but clean. Service was pretty good... food was absolutely excellent... everything was very fresh... was told that everything was made from scratch... the only downside is that sodas dont have free refills... but everything is so inexpensive you dont mind... I am definitely coming back :)

A year ago me and bf went there for the first time, we first got our drinks, and thats where we got questionable, our teas where the size of 8 oz cups.. not the usual tall glasses at other restaurants..then we started to look at the menu, we ordered and the lady told us they didnt have anything we requested... And the prices were wack..we just got up and left when she went to the kitchen xD

Server was nice and attentive. Couldnt justify more than 2 stars for the food. Egg drop soup was an odd color, had some tiny black things in it, and very little actual egg. Sesame chicken was somehow worse and had an odd ketchup taste. Cant understand all the 5 star reviews. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? I love cheap Chinese food, but my meal was barely edible.

My friend and I were looking for a place to eat while my oil was getting changed at Firestone down the street. All I can say is that this place has some of the best Chinese food in town. I had the spicy sesame seed chicken and it was awesome! Have been back twice and I think I’m getting addicted to their food. I definitely rate it a 5 star.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! The dinner specials are over priced. Ordered our food to go and everyone got their orders before we did, even people who ordered after us. The Chinese lady at the counter was rude. All the food was cold and didnt taste all that great.

Tried this place because of all the positive reviews. Needless to say, they are all true! Very cheap lunch special and everything was great! Usually, places have great dishes but nasty fried rice or vise versa. It was all great! Making this place my go-to spot from now on

Do not be fooled by the high rating of this restaurant. The Chinese food is mediocre at best! The only thing going for this restaurant was the cheap, fast lunch specials with good customer service. The food its self really wasnt that great.

Grabbed food to go from here because I was near by . When I got home 11 miles away the food tasted amazing. It was fresh and delicious. Will defiantly recommend this place to others and be coming back

The food was phenomenal! The presentation was pretty and it tasted as good as it looked! Also the Rangoons were so very fresh and tasted as such!
