So love it that Trumbull has this "very hip" restaurant - beautiful rustic industrial look & awesome menu! Been there several times - lunch & dinner. Going again tonight. Everything my husband and relatives have ordered has been "excellent". When my husband & I want a quieter atmosphere, we go on off hours, like lunchtime during the week. Dinner weeknights & especially weekends its "a hopping, lively & fun atmosphere" with LOTS of folks & people noise. Suggest using their "call ahead" feature for less wait time, but its also fun going when theres lots of people...also a great sign...means the food is REALLY GOOD! Especially LOVE their "beef tips", salads, burgers & chicken wings. Great beer. WONDERFUL staff, our experience is theyre always attentive & accommodating plus very friendly :-) THANK YOU Sitting Duck Tavern for coming to Trumbull!!

Having grown up in Trumbull, there wasnt a whole lot of places to go out to eat and drink for that matter. A very nice bar upscale atmosphere reasonably priced. The lobster mac and cheese was on the bland side though it was a good portion but the bang bang style shrimp were outstanding. It was designed by adults for adults, not like a Chilis. I recommend calling ahead because the place gets booked up quickly as there are still not a lot of places to go in Trumbull. Also keep in mind it might take you some time to find parking in this small shopping plaza.

The first visit heralded an extremely overdone burger, under seasoned and dry. The waiter never even asked how I wanted my burger, so I told him I wanted it rare... It was way beyond medium well.. The second visit, we ordered the calamari ( way overdone and tough) Chicken BLT overdone and under seasoned and the Lobster Mac and Cheese, under seasoned, more like a white gravy than a béchamel sauce (less the cheese) and Im still looking for the lobster.. By the way, I ordered the regular serving and not the small plate...

Though they havent been open all that long, theyve drawn quite a following. Ive heard people from neighboring towns talking about their experiences here - thats always nice to hear. Ive been here several times and the service has been good and consistent. The food is good and the beer selection is more than adequate. They usually have the standards and some interesting brews that they change frequently. Finally Trumbull has its own pub style bar for the locals.

Service excellent, greeted with smiles and a prompt, efficient staff. Pricing competitive with local market. Food fantastic (artichokes, pretzel, salad, beef tips). Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Excited that there is a hip spot closer to home without slumming it at the mall! Can be a bit loud but its a jovial, happy crowd respecting each others space. Well done for a new restaurant! Well be back!

It was so lovely they have an outdoor eating area its really nice and waitress will try to make you a drink even if its not on the menu she made me peach balleni and it was good the food here is top notch even tho my ex boyfriend complained which is embarrassing ..anyway come here its good place to eat and drink

Went there for first time and enjoyed our meal. Staff was extremely friendly and food was tasty. Portions arent as big as some of their competitors but not not worth dinging them for in stars. Beer selection is diverse as well. Kids menu available which was nice.

The food is very good here and the beer selection is impressive. Combine that with the setup and its a great place to visit. The only thing Ive noticed in the times Ive visited is the staff isnt as friendly as youd expect. Otherwise, worth the trip.

Finally a great restaurant in Trumbull! Food was delicious (had the Chicken BLTA and a burger). Very tasty burger... and I ate all the french fries they were so yummy. Decent prices, beer list and half price bottles on Sundays!

I love the food in there it is very good. I recommend to have the beef tips there it is their one of the specialities. It may be a little costly but it is worth it.
