We dont live in the area so we didnt know anything about the place. On a Friday night, there wasnt a soul in the place. The restaurant was dingy, dark and looked like it belonged in a bad B movie - or perhaps a quirky film noir movie, circa 1940s. I must admit that aspect appealed to the artist in me and I would have loved to take some photos. How would you even know what you are eating with so little light!? The owner was extremely aggressive and asked six times in less than one minute if we wanted to carry out food. The smell in this place was not like any Chinese restaurant Ive ever eaten in - something wasnt right. It also looked like it hadnt been cleaned in about 40 years. Their prices were pretty high for a dive hole in the wall. Thank heavens we decided against eating here - read a lot of dismal reviews after we returned home.

If I could give this place less than one star I absolutely would. WORST Chinese food Ive EVER had. I only had five bites and I just couldnt eat any more. I ordered $40 of food and had to throw all of it away and make new food because no one could stomach the stuff. It took over an hour for them to deliver the food, and even then we had to go get in our car, MEET THEM AT CVS TO PICK UP OUR OWN FOOD! There was more vegetables than meat, the pork dumplings were just awful tasting, and the noodles had no flavor at all, making it ironically the best tasting thing we ordered. Dont bother wasting your time or money with this place.

Always polite and friendly. And for the onr complaining about -delivery-, they dont have delivery. They probably did this as a kind gesture ingrate. And the other complaining about napkins or utensils, Ive never been to a chinese place that had given them out, maybe chopsticks. Maybe try not being cheap.

Eat at own risk...I ordered beef fried rice and it looked like a bowl of count chocula the food here really suck....I ordered various items from here as soon as I tasted the food i immediately threw everything in the trash...I would give a zero if I could.

Its not gonna blow you away, but for the most part its fairly standard Americanized Chinese food. Mushu, beef with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, etc. Dont expect to be impressed, but if you have a craving itll do.

Love Whey Chai! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is beautiful! Dave and Julie (the owners) are some of the most friendly people you will ever know. My family has enjoyed dining at Whey Chai for 30 years!
