Food is excellent, Atmosphere is good. Service needs improvements(see below). I have been here several times with various clients and with family. I will admit, it had one of the best south Indian foods around along with few other competing ones. Parking is not the best out here especially during peak hours, considering there is 2 other popular restaurants in the same complex. Notes for Operator/owner - * Make sure there is steady supply of Naan or such on your buffet. That is the most common issue in all my visits. Same with Hot Tea/Chai. * Service is not the best as many have complained. Lets me point some of our concerns and maybe it may help you - used Plates needs to picked up within few mins of it being put aside, Drinks need to be brought promptly to table after order..not midway..and refill promptly(or ask), Staff needs to have an uniform or dressed neatly to distinguish them from customers, How about some smile or happy faces..take care of your staff so they show +ve energy. When customers walk in, please advice the folks behind the counter to to look them in eye with a smile and welcome them; and let them know some one will be there soon to help them. * An awning at entrance will go a long way and add looks...and helps when its raining and other weather situation. Right now..it looks plain. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work.

Very bad Restaurant, mostly very bad staff. I had ordered for a take out for biryani on sunday, one of the staff who responded to the call said , no need to order over phone and just come over to the resturant for takeout. but when i went there after driving over 23 miles, The restaurant staff said since there are lot of people they cannot give for takeout of biryani. These guys are very money oriented, without basic human culture and the behaviour was truly disgusting, We drove all the way with a 1 year kid to take out the biryani since we cannot have food at the restaurant with the kid. Never go to these type of money minded restaurant, high head weigh staff. when there are more people coming these type of restaurant do think they are gods and never care for customers. when people less they come down to earth..... guys please have these in mind....

Let me straighten this out first...the food is very tasty! All items have a great blend of northern recipe with a southern touch resulting in delicious food, no doubt. However, the staff members who are made up of a mix of Hindi-speaking folks and also apparently Nepalese or North-Eastern men and women are utterly nasty and disgusting - I would not even call them rude because they are far beyond that. I have overheard their conversations the 4 times I have been here and most of them talk very LOUD (VERY AUDIBLY in the dining area) about sex, homosexuals and customers at the restaurants whom the staff members perceive to be sexy or gay! Shocking, but true! Disgusting and shocking but I can testify in court about this if anybody wants. Until you retrain your staff or replace them you will continue to get reviews like this.

I parked in front of their restaurant to go to Baby Moon Cafe (which was fantastic by the way) and an employee immediately came out and rudely told me I needed to move my car. The parking lot was pretty full, but there were plenty of spots near Godavari. If they are this rude to their neighbors customers, I have no desire to find out how they would treat their own. After I posted this, the owner came over to me (while I was still eating at Baby Moon) to explain I had parked in a handicap spot and to please remove the poor review. Later on the way back to my car I looked to see and I had not parked in a handicap spot. Even if that were the case, that should have politely been stated to me initially.

We went with party of about 15. This is the feedback from each one of us.Todays Dosa Buffet was a Joke. When they are serving just dosa for 11.99 then better they bet good or at least eatable. These were the worst dosas I have ever eaten in my life. They were very soggy and tasteless. They were so soggy that they were sticking to the plate and had to be scratched up. The samber was plain daal, hardly any vegetables. The chutneys were full of salt (at least 2 times normal). Another thing, how hard it is to make tea? Even that they screwed it up BIG TIME. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

The service was horrible. We waited for 45 mins before the food was served. They only brought out the 2 entrées out of 5. We had to wait another 10 mins to receive the naan and 2 more entrées. And by that time the other food was cold. At this time they said The 5th entrée would take atleast another hour to make. Ridicolous!!! They also added forgot to serve some of the appitizer but charged us for it. Lastly, and most importantly most dishes were either too salty or did not have any salt at all. Extremely disappointed.

Awful. The food was awfully bland, whereas Indian cuisine is usually loaded with flavours. It was very evident that they make one curry paste (what is also known as gravy) & use it with any/every dish that you order. They pretend as if they are making the dish from scratch, whereas the taste clearly tells the opposite. What worse can it be, if the Sambhar doesnt have any taste that too in a restaurant claiming to offer authentic South Indian cuisine.

I visited this place for the first time last month and was truly disappointed. The lassi I had ordered tasted funny and has some grains in it, the other item that I had ordered was channa batura, the batura was rubbery, not the usually flaky texture, Chettinad chicken was super spicy! Their waiters were least bit cordial. They also chose to clean their serving station with some cleaning fluid exactly when they had guests eating. Never Again!

If there was an option I would have rated a negative 5. Food was hopeless. Everything , I mean everything was of poor quality. My order included chicken biryani and ended up receiving a foul smelling one. Lamb curry was nothing but tomato soup. Same goes with rest of the orders. When asked for a replacement for biryani , I was asked to bring the original order to validate my claim. If you want to get decent food "go else where"

Went to Godavari yesterday, but the food was really bad. The utappam was half done and the rava dosa was cold. The sambar was also cold and the coconut chutney was watery. Not sure how they could make the Utappam or Rave dosa cold. This was my first trip here and probably it will be the last one. Over all this the food is much more expensive than other south Indian restaurants.

We were hugely disappointed by Godavari. We tried the Godavari at Raleigh and food tasted good but the morrisville location food was real bad. We tried rajugari biryani, konaseema royyalu expecting authentic flavors, but to our utter disappointment they were very bland and shrimp was not cooked properly and hospitality is also not upto the mark. Never again are we going here.

Food taste good ..curry goat wrre little bony pieces we have to be careful that we dont swallow any bones..must have been pressured cooked or boiled too much or ..our waitstaff never offered any drinks they are selling he must have assumed we were just ok with water or the little cups of drink they offer on the buffet. The best experience was the man making fresh Masala dosa.
