All in all the travel center & all other outlets at this location are well above average!! Although drivers with their wife/spouse/partner (as in a female) the bartender will serve you & your significant other 3 to 4 drinks,,then the female in the couple will be "cut-off",,although the bartender(note; they are always female in this situation) my husband & I we haul cross country(coast to coast,& all states in between for Wheaton Van Lines,,my husband has an excellent driving/CSA rating,,anyway,,we parked here for the night @ 12:30pm pacific time,,we cleaned our trailer,our cab,,etc..all the while my husband drank almost a10-pack of Bud-Light during this time,myself barely consumed 2 beers!! We then went to the Ponderosa lounge @ the Jubitz Travel/Truck Stop,,I ordered an appetizer & Ihad 2 bud-lights & my husband had 4 bud-lights,,all together we had 5 shots of Jager shots,,Clearly my better half was more intoxicated than me,,but the female bartender cut me off & but kept on serving shots to my husband!!!! Note I had to help my husband back to our truck!! Moral of my review : is female bartenders her,,do not like the female patrons!! !! I guess they think the single men/truckers will tip them better if they have no companion with them!!!! Our bartender today was Heidi,,& she is extremely fake & only out to flaunt her assets,to get more tips ie; my point that she does not like males with having a female companion!! Ladies beware!! I am blessed with a husband that says if my wife isnt welcome then he isnt welcome either!! Trust & believe I eill be contacting management/corporate on her hospitality & social skills!! I f she wants an all male clientele then go tend bar at a strip club!! My rant/vent/review done!! Thank you,,Tammy

Keep working on your motto "The worlds classiest truck stop." I am rooting for you! You challenge yourself by putting a truck stop in a Metropolitan area. I love the fact that I can dismount my bike, catch the bus or cab and see what the city of Portland has to offer. Bigger doesnt necessarily mean better. Iowa80 is nice but is a distance from Davenport and Davenport cannot compare to Portland. You have a nice hotel which Iowa80 lack. Keep working on your fast food store, menu and quality. You are one of the few owners that review the comments and reply. Excellent! Love you guys. Keep making the trail, not follow.

Great place to stop. Did a 34 hour reset here. Got laundry done cheaper than most. (1.75 wash & .25 for 6 min dryer). Or you can get the fluff and fold. The best part is the shower. The tile my be dated, but you get a "MAN Size" towel. As for the parking,, if you are a newbie good time to learn how to blind side back. If you have too,, I got in at 2100 on a Friday night. The app I have said parking was low, but I got a great spot up front, with no parking to my right, and the spot to my left was also empty. This is my favorite truck stop on the west coast.

Its all about the money! This use to be a have too place. Not anymore! Years ago you felt like they cared about the drivers, with a clean place, with good food and fair prices. You use to get a free steak dinner with a 100 gal. fill up. Any more, oh Hell No! Now you get a $10 off coupon for the restaurant or $6 off in the deli. Not too bad you might say, until you find out that a third of a pound, cheese burger is........drum roll please.......$12.95! This place had better get their act together before they too, go the way of the buffalo!

We have a drop yard up the street and I came down here to get something quick to eat. I wish I had went somewhere else... The chicken teriyaki in the deli was overpriced and rather disgusting. I dont know how long it had been sitting in the holding oven, but it should have been tossed a couple of hours ago. Got a ton of rice but not much chicken, for the money theyre charging I wouldnt waste my money on it again. Not sure Ill come back again. Might try the actual restaurant at some point when I have time, but never again for the deli.

When it comes to truck stops in the modern era, this has to be the best on the west coast overall. Hotel, restaurant, mail services, movie theater, bar and more. I have been coming here for about 10 years and over the years it seems prices have risen a bit faster then inflation and what use to be a good deal is now a fair deal. But that happens. My only true complaint it that it is 98% blindside parking! Has always been and I suppose it always will be but it sure makes it hard to park at times. Otherwise a great place to stop.

Parking can be a little tough but never had a problem finding a spot. Food and other items are a little over priced which is why a lot of us drivers do our shopping at Walmart. Got the pot stickers and mashed potatoes with gravy and it was sad and depressing (inside fuel island building). They advertised a mac/cheese special but the girl said they were all out?!? Take down the sign then. Cool place to hang out plus bar in adjacent building. Stay one night in the motel and it was just a standard room for about $70.

I have stayed in the hotel, loud street noise and uncomfortable beds, used the truck showers, moldy and your shower is timed, stay in there to long and they will pound on the door and tell you your time is up! Moes is great, but the restaurant is expensive for the quality of food received. I had hoped to pamper myself by dropping off my laundry and get a hair cut, both were closed at 3pm. They now have a do it yourself dog wash, 10 dollars for 10 minutes, that is going to be more expensive than a $12 shower.

Love this place! Great place to pass thru or enjoy a reset for truckers. Has lots of amenities and entertainment. Fuel, scale, grab n go food, restrooms, and some shower rooms that also have hot tubs! The Ponderosa Lounge has wonderful friendly bartenders like Heidi & live entertainment most weekends. The movie theater has great deals for tickets & food combos and plays 2 movies a few times per day. The restaurant has awesome, hearty, comfort food, and a salad bar. Just a fun place to visit!

It has changed from the original jubitz. To a 3 ring circus now . Old man Jubitz built the original truck stop for drivers not for non drivers. Like it is now Back in the late 70 s & the 80s I use to get my hair cut their by Marv he was berries dad & when we were their Mr jubitz would come in or already in getting a hair cut too .& he would talk with my dad and us boys . I was their Friday & the people that work their now are pretty rude and unfriendly. Compared to what we grew up too .

Its Good decent showers and plenty of parking and sometimes could still find a lot after midnight, got a truck wash (I never used it yet) otherwise Im happy abt this truck stop and always come in here whenever Im passing through. Came in here in December and they were out of GPS the kind I needed. The manager was able to order one for me and I was able to buy it in the next couple of days. Very good customer service and I was very much satisfied. I would recommend everyone to come here.
