This restaurant is great! Finally another option rather then Chilis, Fridays, Ruby Tuesday and O Charles for a decent sit down resturant. The food is great, not your typical Korean type style resturant. This is more geared towards americas which is fine. Every dish Ive head there has been good. The (and I am screwing this up) Bim-Bup-Bop? Is fantastic. Huge amount of food that you could split with another person. The chicken is also a good dish. Crispy, but not dry at all. Wonderful staff that is friendly and attentive, but not hovering over your table the whole time. Never once have a had a bad meal there and would recommend to anyone that wants something different then the standard line up of resturants I mentioned above. Go there eat foods, get fat, take some home and do it all over again. And if you dont like this restaurant.....well thats probably because you hate America
Let me start by saying my wife and I love Bonchon Chicken, just not the Fredericksburg Bonchon Chicken. We usually go to the one in Fairfax which has great service and the chicken is cooked perfectly every time. At first we were very excited that they were going to open a store in the Burg only to find out that they do not carry the same menu and the cooks leave alot to be desired when it comes to this companys chicken at this location. Our first and last visit to the fburg store was a month ago when we called in an order for pickup. They do not carry the same menu as the Fairfax store and more importantly the chicken incredibly overcooked borderline burnt. Guess well just continue driving to Fairfax for our favorite chicken. Really is a shame that the people in Fredericksburg are not being served the quality of food that my wife and I have come to love from this establishment.
My boyfriend and I went to an Arlington location first which was amazing and said we didnt think the Fredericksburg locations food would be as good. Sadly, we were right. But even then, the food here tastes really good. I hope this one never goes away because its only like 7 minutes from where I live which honestly puts me in trouble because I have developed a Bonchon addiction. They let us sit at the bar (which does not serve alcohol like other properties, for those wondering) and all the staff up front were so sweet and attentive.
I received my order wrong twice. When I went back in the manager who was the one that took my order took exceptional care of me and made sure that my food was correct and even offered to give me credit in their book. Their food has always been awesome and so is their service and attention to customers. Even though they made a mistake they make sure that they took care of me because they want me to come back again. I believe thats how they feel about all of their customers.
The signature chicken carries them but I go to Bonchon for okonomiyaki. Unfortunately it wasnt there. Everything else about the restaurant is good - the staff were friendly and attentive. The bathrooms were clean. The prices are what youd expect. Id sooner go to the Bonchon in Fairfax or Richmond, however.
Greta variety and excellent service. I had a wrap that was amazing and frankly distracted me from enjoying the company of my date. The place feels so clean. They should put some sort of sound absorbing material up though because its pretty loud even when everyone is only talking at normal volume.
I love to go there...because I love the Korean beef dishes. Korean chicken is good an idea that has caused my friends to keep coming back. I love to set at the bar, because I get quick service and personal attention from the employees, even calling my name when I walk in the door.
I ate their soy garlic chicken wings a few weeks ago and although they had a nice flavor I had a bad case of diarrhea after eating these wings. Yikes! Ppl with sensitive tummies please do not indulge in these twice fried, diarrhea inducing delights. Yours, Shenora Shillshams
One of the best fried chicken wing places in the area. So excited when they opened one down here. Very unique tasting with an Asian flair but so delicious. If you do not like spicy.... go for Garlic Soy. They are BOMB.
We came for the drum sticks which were amazing, worth the money. The place was a little full but Ian and Megan took great care of us. Ask for them and you will get great service with your delicious food.
Korean Fried Chicken - extra crispy and spicy. A variety of specialty side dishes as well. (If you like cold chicken, buy a little extra chicken and have cold spicy leftovers for lunch the next day.)
Some of the best and definitely the biggest chicken wings I have every eaten. You can order a garlic, mild or hot flavor. It also has great Korean style food with an American twist
Wings are crazy good! Cant comment on anything else. Only had chicken and o-rings. Orings good too, though, not standard restaurant go to, so thats good
Tasty food with lots of spices. Dont have good options for kids but they were kind enough to accommodate a special request for small guest.
I highly recommend the chicken katsu if you love sweet spicy and fried you will love this dish .
You gotta try at least once, I guarantee you will be back for more regardless of the price.
Wings are great here. Nice change from BDubs even though theres only two types of wings.
Delicious, unique, and affordable specials. Fans of spicy will be happy here.
