It was my first time here. When I walked in the staff was very inviting and very friendly. I sat down at the bar and before I could get comfortable, about two to three bartenders were asking for my drink order. The place is very clean, the atmosphere is excellent and HAPPY HOUR is absolutely awesome. I have the pork belly and the Mess Burger. The food was certainly tasty and cooked to perfection. The next time Im in Dayton, OH, I will certainly be back the way dinner and to participate in Happy Hour. You should check them out too! If you are every in Dayton, stop by and tell em Drew sent ya! This was my first visit to Mudlick Tap House. I went on a Sunday afternoon and they were not crowded. I was told about the weekend Bloody Mary Bar, but opted for a beer instead. They offered a very nice variety of beers. I ordered the Meat Loaf Sammy and it was delicious! The bartender, and my server, Philip was very helpful and checked back with me often. Im sure I will stop in again to try more great beers and more of the food menu offerings!

The cocktails were good. However, we did not like the food. The flatbread had nice flavors on top, but we did not like that the flatbread itself was raw. Also, our burger was over-cooked, which was the biggest disappointment. There is potential there with the cool location, good cocktails, lots of taps, and good ideas for flavor combinations. However, we did not leave with great things to say about the food after our first visit.

Went in for snacks, desert and drinks. Staff was overly friendly however they were a little slow. Maybe they were a little too friendly as they spend a lot of time talking everywhere causing service to be slow. Deserts were good as was appetizer. This was on a night where it was after a dinner rush and before ball game crowd arrived. Good selection of beer on tap.

Ordered the Flatbread first. I felt it needed to be crisped up a little. But, my herb and cheese grit cake was fantastic. The others at my table ordered entrees that had aoli and dijon horseradish sauce. Both need to be kicked up with flavor. Mostly tasted like mayo. Loved the decor and the fact that there is an area upstairs for larger groups.

As a downtown resident, I am glad that a business is operating. Their food is good and their beer selection is not bad considering the saturation of other beer places in the area. Food was ok, but bordering on trying to be creative but perhaps losing on quality. My only complaint is their prices. They could be lower and seemed overpriced.

All the food is farm to table so you cant go wrong with any food choice (trust me, Ive been trying them all). And most importantly, they truly "get" customer service. Would recommend for a casual fun evening with friends and family. Can get loud since its crowded, but worth it! Oh, and the bar is big so easy to grab a seat!

First night of pre-opening service and definitely kinks to work out. But the place looks amazing, if a little noisy. The food was awesome, once we got it! Great beers on tap, to soften the wait for the food. Excellent staff and service. Looking forward to coming back soon and working my way through the food and beer menus!

It was very crowded when we got there. My friends and I stood at the bar over twenty minutes trying to get a drink. We got a table shortly after. The food prices were exorbitant, portions were unbelievably tiny, and food was just ok, not great. I wont go back.

What can I say that hasnt been said already? Except that if you want to support local and eat great food then this place is a must! The atmosphere is fantastic, staff is friendly and encouraging to try various plates. Tried the appetizer chicken and waffles

Oh my golly. Delicious pub food at reasonable prices. We tried the catfish poboy with house fries/aoili and crispy pork belly hamburger with gouda mac and cheese. As if that wasnt enough we split a heavenly creme brulee. Absolutely yummy.

Such a pleasure to see a restaurant grow and be embraced for quality and local farm to table! The food is amazing, the drinks selections are impeccable and the service is unparalleled! Get out and enjoy a family friendly atmosphere!

The meatloaf sandwich should be renamed a meatloaf slider its so small, flavor was good. Burgers were over cooked and the cubans have very little meat and cheese and are all bread. The service was not up to par.

I love Mudlick Tap House new location and atmosphere. The review is heartfelt as I was worried about the move from Germantown. Menu selection is varied, drink selection wonderful, and beer selection also good.

Decent not amazing. We got some drink and a order of fries. The fries were not crisp in any sense. The pretzel with beer cheese was not good at all. The beer cheese stuff was weird and actually sorta nasty.

Delicious cocktails and apps! Owner wiped down the bar and chair himself when we came in on a busy Friday evening. Service was great. Wish they had bottomless pretzel and bier cheese...for free.99

Fantastic New gastro pub in Downtown Dayton. Will be a regular stop for food and beverage. Weekends have a self serve Bloody Mary bar with tons of great toppings, including cured meat slices.

Excellent food & beer, though its a bit noisy. I had a hard time holding a conversation with the 2 other people at my table during lunch time . Service was fairly attentive as well.

Food was very good. I was a bit disappointed that in a city with so many breweries that a place calling itself a tap house had so few ales, especially local ales, available.

Comfortable place to sit with good beer and good food. I only wished they opened additional floors because it can quickly fill to capacity.
