FAVORITE BUFFET IN WNY ! yes, Ive been to them all. They have very tasty, very fresh food that is made with love. And for people complaining about going there late night, its a buffet, what do you expect?? they are ALL like that. and PLUS, if its very late and there isnt something out that you wanted- they will make you a fresh portion JUST FOR YOU. FYI, they have updated their seating and have come a long way over the last few years! ^.^ this is a family business, I have watched them grow, and YES -right before close-- most of the family/workers will have a plate from the kitchen and eat together in the back corner, I dont see anything wrong with this. ...only thing I have to say bad is that i miss the mango pudding but no one would try it because its orangey and looks funny lol and because I often come late at night, I do wish they had a microwave available for customer-use at the buffet, ONLY BECAUSE I like my food scorching hot, but I assume that would look bad for business lol so if you come here for the first time-- do so during peak dinner time and youll be very happy. and for the record, Ive never gotten food poisoning from this buffet (unlike most the others) and Ive been going for the last 10 years, and some years were multiple times a week when I worked close by. customer service wise- they have done a lot for me & my friends over the years that a lot of other places wouldnt have done. Ive also seen them get stiffed multiple times because people will eat and then complain about something silly and walk out, so you have to put yourself in their shoes... when they are very reasonably priced and still get stiffed over something dumb that could have been taken care of, its very nerve racking. and though these people mean business, they are also very down to earth, punctual, and take pride in their business, so until you have your own restaurant, please dont judge. :) ...and also, if someone assumed I couldnt speak their language, then I wouldnt bother trying to be friendly either... just saying.

Another reviewer is correct when he stated that you have to get there early for the food to be really good, since, like a lot of other smaller places, there arent enough customers to keep replenishing the food. They dont just throw it out when it gets what we might consider unappetizing-looking. As to the reviewer who stated they were all eating and she thought it "unprofessional," that is unfair. I have worked as a waitress in several Chinese menu-style restaurants, and all the help eats at once when their lunchtime comes. Its just the way it is done. At a regular Chinese restaurant, the cooks prepare a very simple but incredibly tasty meal like bok choy and serve it with white rice and everybody sits down together and eats. At a buffet they usually take from the buffet. I wrote a scathing review of this place last year about how nasty they were from the time you walk in til the time you walk out and stated that I wouldnt go back, but since the other Chinese restaurant in town closed theres nowhere else. This year a friend of mine wanted to go so we have been going about once a week. I figured they would still all be haughty and nasty but they are not. The food is better and the people working there have been very nice. So far.

My husband & I dine here from time to time its cheap..its quick...and the girls are normally pretty good about things...Last night was a total change...they stare at you as you eat....and give you an evil stare if you go up twice or more to the Buffet....Our waitress was almost grabbing out glasses from our lips saying "you want more drink".....after the second trip to the hot food..they run over with the check.and they walk back and forth watching to see if the CC is there or the cash (even tho youre still eating).....once they dropped the check..beverage service stops!!! and last night my hubby had to ask the girl for a refill...she got it but when she put it down she slammed it on the table....(there went her tip)...the desert bar has a full tray of tapioca pudding..a little kid was getting a scoop of choc ice cream and he dropped it off the cone into the pudding...instead of taking the pudding back and dumping it the girl just stirred the choc ice cream into it and left it.......it looked like overcooked oatmeal ....the fruit is always sour tasting.....the restrooms need work..toilet seat in ladies room is only hooked on oneside in the handicap stall...elderly or disabled could be injured....

2nd visit in three months this time was horrible. It was about 9 pm when we walked in. While we were being Sat we were told they close at 10. No big deal who could stay for more them an hour anyway. The food was barely warm somethings were actually down right cold. The momager (lol) said sorry I just turned the things off, not tru because food take a minimum of 10 min to get to room temperature so for things to be cold. Was definitely more the just turned off. Then to compensate for this she took $1.58 off our Bill.. So we paid $20 for two salads Two drinks and two fortune cookies and left the cold dinner plates of food on the table and unhappily walked out. Needless to say we will never be returning to this Hong Kong buffet ever ever. Worst food and worst customer service!

Yuck! Never eating there again!!! Grossest food I ever had! First off we had a family of 8 including 3 children and we asked for 2 tables pushed together so that we could all eat together- NO! They couldnt do that, must of been to much work. We ate at 2 separate tables- not even side by side to each other. The food was not good at all- they had 3 dishes that were broccoli and chicken- 3! The egg drop soup was bottom of the barrel and the worst I ever had. The sushi was not even edible, I think it has been out for a week and it was a dark brown color. The only thing that I enjoyed was the chicken on a stick. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone- Dont go there, it is a waste of your time, money and guts!!!

Food was very good. Waiters are very nice. They may be hard to understand, but I give them a lot of credit. Not expensive :) If want to bring someone whos not into Chinese food, there is pizza and fries. And very American desserts. Sushi was interesting to try! My favorite stuff was the sesame seed balls, egg rolls, donuts, chicken with soy sauce, fried pork rice, and some sort of cooked assorted vegetable thing that was amazing. The atmosphere isnt extravagant, but its nice. They really did a good job with space - theres a mirror that makes the whole room look twice the the size that it is. Pop costs extra, so just ask for water if you want to stick to the buffet price.

I had the buffet, a little of this and a little of that. No flavors distinguished really any of the dishes. I didnt like seeing the children stocking/cleaning around the buffet. When I noticed one of the waitresses just eyeballing the napkins/silverware when guests left and leaving them in place on three different tables around me I almost threw up. Im a truck driver that doesnt live in the area so its not going to be missed when I never return. I looked this place up on Google Maps and since Ive dined here Im wondering why it had such a high score?! I think an inspection is needed.
