Updated Review: So heres the thing... I loved this place in the past because the donut burgers are amazing. The thing is, the service is going down hill dramatically it seems. The past few times weve gone, weve had to wait about 5-10 minutes just to even be greeted. The time before last we went, we stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes with nobody in front of us before even being acknowledged. Tonight, we waited about 5 minutes at the bar. As far our our order tonight, our fries were all over cooked and hard as a rock, and then, I ordered the donut burger, and it came with bacon..... Its NEVER come with bacon before and i dont like bacon so I definitely didnt order it. My roomate who was next to me, ordered a burger which came with bacon, he said it was over cooked and hard to bite into. My other friend ordered the exact same thing as me but his didnt come with bacon. So neither of us ordered our food with it, but one of us got bacon. It feels as if theres only 1 person back there cooking and he/she hates their job. Burnt fries, cold food, and EXTREMELY slow service. And lets not forget about the disaster of a parking lot which is WAY too small. Say what you will, but everyone knows there arent enough spaces. My group of friends saw someone tonight have an accident while trying to leave the parking lot because they didnt have enough room. The place also really needs a deep cleaning and a new coat of paint on the inside. It just feels dirty. Again, I hate saying this, because Ive brought 10 or so people here just so they could try some of the "non-traditional" menu items. But after tonight, I just dont know if I can suggest this place anymore. Need more examples of what Im talking about as far as service and other issues? Read the reviews for Butter Krisp on Google itself. Its not pretty.

I used to work down the street from this diner and ordered breakfast there almost daily. I loved the food and the atmosphere. I work in Mandeville now, but still make it by the diner occasionally. Things have slipped terribly there with regard to staffing. It has been a very negative and unpleasant experience the last half a dozen visits. There is one older lady working there that has the absolute worst attitude. She is rude to customers and chastises other staff members in front of customers. Aside from her crappy attitude and negative vibe it delivers, my food orders have been wrong. Some simple training and focus on attention to detail are in order. I hope they can figure it out as I am nearing the end of my patronage.

I went in to the 190 store on Thursday and bought over a 100.00 dollars in king cakes.I did one to my brother in mo for over night. They dont have the one I want so they make it and said it would go the next day. Well Im here to tell you they dont ship on Friday and they did not tell me this tell I call on Sat evening. Then they tell me this and that it should go out on Monday. So what I paid for I really feel like I didnt get what I bought. So dont go buy a king cake on Thursday and think it will ship it wont. Just to let everyone know this.

I avoided coming here for so long because it always looked cramped and dingy. Boy was that a huge mistake on my part. This place is heaven on earth. Every single thing on their menu is delicious. Trust me i know. My husband and i come here often and weve tried everything. But my absolute favorite thing from here has to be the spicy chicken, i wake up in the middle of the night craving this sandwich. Food aside, it is not dingy whatsoever and is actually a super cute and retro diner. Theres booth and counter seating aplenty.

Service was slow even though we were only 1 of 3 people in the place. Ordered my lunch (#1) with no cheese and extra pickles. Got cheese of 2 of 3 of my sliders and 1 pickle slice on only 1 of the sliders. I could also tell that my slider patty was previously cooked and was thrown on grill and warmed back up. Owners need to spend less money on decor and focus on proper training and pay employee s more.

Cook does not know what over medium means when doing eggs. Asked for extra crispy bacon, could have oiled a truck with the grease. The sugar for coffee had so much moisture in it that you had to chip it by hard shaking the container. The only thing that was as ordered was the dry wheat toast, but they didnt even offer jelly.

AWESOME DONUTS !!! Get the hot dozen of glazed donuts. THey are made to order and always fresh. Possibly the best donuts around.. I have yet to find better. The food is what you would expect from a diner style restaurant. Fresh, hot and great coffee. A nice place to go after a night out on the town for a bite to eat.

Come here quite often to get doughnuts because they are open 24 hours. The only thing is they dont keep fresh doughnuts and from what I have been told once they run out they dont start making them again until after 3am. This is the only downside!

opened 24hour you can get 24hr hot donuts and normal diner fair. A little bit more pricy than waffle house depending on what you get but under $10.00 for a meal. Staff is nice and friendly and so are the regulars.

The place is dirty. Roaches every where on the counter. The ones we can see. Asked for mustard mold and dirt on bottle. Dont think I will be back.
