Having tried them all , I can honestly report that El Rebozo is THE best in the area. The service is always outstanding, smiling people, anxious to make sure your meal is perfect. From the front door to checkout, I can find NO fault with this restaurant. The kitchen is immaculate, the restaurant always spotless, the food...oh, the food! And so much food that we always need a to-go box. Highly recommend the chiles rellenos, Texas fajitas, pork carnitas, & everything else on the menu! Everyone weve taken there came away happy, & all have said this is the FIRST Mexican restaurant that NEVER caused them tummy problems later. Value, ambiance, world-class service...for us, its always El Rebozo! SUPERB!

We usually have good food and service but on March 11 2017, the food and service was terrible. Once the food came to the table our server never came back to see how we were doing or if we needed a refill on drinks. I had to flag down the server to tell them that my food was not good and I refuse to eat it. I posted a picture of the Taco Salad that I ordered. I took one bite and thought I was going to vomit. It was bland, watery, and not appealing to eat at all. We will not be going back and we will definitely steer our friends away from here so they do not get sick from the food like we did! Giving El Rebozo Restaurant even 1 star is being generous.

Our family has been going to El Rebozo (aka Nachos place) since our oldest was 6 months old. He just turned 6 and the gang at El Rebozo made it a fun night for us all. This is a special restaurant, as each time we go we see a lot of the same smiling faces. The owner Ignacio "Nacho" Calvillo treats you like youre part of his family. Hes even carried our kids around to see the kitchen! The service and the food are both outstanding. Give it a try and if you dont like something, please let Nacho know. Hell make it right.

Worst mexican food Ive ever had. Even the margaritas were horrible. I went there at least a half dozen times, each time I left I told myself Id never go back. Salsa bar and chips were the only good thing. The female staff were rude in English and beyond rude speaking Spanish to each other about me and my family; they must have thought I didnt know what they were saying to each other because Im white, those racists. They even tried to slip in extra charges on my bill a few different times.

As soon as you walk in the door it smells delicious! The friendly staff is quick to make sure you are taken care of. As soon as they brought the food we were suprised by the good size portions. Once we tasted our food we were even more surprised by how delicious it was!!! Good prices too. Excellent food, hospitality & atmosphere!!! We will be back, next time with family!!! Its rare to not be able to say Anything bad about a place, not one thing, but we cant think of anything.

I think Ive been to every Mexican restaurant in town, and this one remains my favorite. Were always able to get a seat immediately, their salsa bar is easily the best around, and the food is always plentiful and served with a smile. The format is just like youre probably expecting if youve had a lot of "California-style" Mexican food around here, but its just a bit higher quality.

Best Mex-Ameri food in Buncombe County. The people running the place are family, always welcoming. Fresh homemade chips and tortillas, nothing is ever stale, all fresh foods, chips, tortillas, salsas. Excellent service, the food is great! I pass several other restaurants just to come dine at this one, almost daily, and the facilities are always clean.

Service was fine, food on other hand is poor. Beef taco poor season, they only put little chesse, over do on lettce and nothing else. Fish taco, meat good but that all you get. Tostada, shell was not hard and fell apart, lots of lettce, on slice of tomato and dab of sour cream. Get little for price.

Im very choosy about Mexican food. El Rebozo has become my absolute FAVORITE!!! The chips and salsa amazing! Everything Ive ordered here has been great and the service is great as well! The owner and his staff are very sweet and they all work together to keep the table happy.

Great food, generous portions, clean, friendly staff, good atmosphere. We got the Los Compadres and the Super Fajita Chimichanga and both were delicious. The Super Fajita Chimichanga was HUMONGOUS - bigger than most burritos Ive seen. Very tasty, very generous, will return!

The place stinks like a sweaty, sour smell. Customer service was awful and we were ignored quite a bit. Even when we were checking out, the guy had an attitude. The food was hot but tasted pretty bland. Thankful I dont live here.
