The only reason its two stars is because the food was good. The cherry tomatoes in my salad were fresh. We were a party of 7 and everybodys taste buds were satisfied. We arrived just before 10:30 and were informed that seating for 7 would be about 15 minutes. I saw the hostess write down my name at the top of the list as we were the only ones waiting with plenty of open tables. 45 minutes later they seated us and only after we said something....twice. At the table there was no silverware and I was provided with a glass with pink lipstick still fully plastered on it. Its BYOB so our party had champagne. The party next to us said that they ordered orange juice and were just provided several glasses full at $3 a glass. They had an extra one which they sent our way to save us. When we ordered a second glass of orange juice it took two attempts to get one. The prices werent as bad as I expected it to be. Its Bergen County after all. We left at about $20 a plate with tip. Our waitress could have been more attentive and the restaurant has plenty of staff for the about of tables so nothing was stopping her other than inexperience. Heed my warning and those of other reviews. I believe there is a managerial issue at the location if all reviews online state the same issues and nothing seems to be getting done.

Worst customer service ever, refused my request to sit outside. They were switching shifts and didnt want to confuse the waiters The kid serving us was in the middle of eating his lunch and barely said anything, his mouth was full when I asked him If I could have more water. Never once did they come to check up on me when brought the check I asked him if he was alright he said he was tired and was trying to eat I asked if he had a long day he said he just got in... I District manage 4 photography studios I am only 22 but the day I went in there I wasnt dressed up I was in relaxed clothing I handle customer service throughout NJ/NY and the service here was completely unacceptable. I brought my friends out to eat here and we all felt like we were treated horribly. I highly dont recommend eating here complete waste of time and left me in a terrible mood.

My favorite place in Bergen County, NJ to relax with Nicole and the kids (great kids menu). Great atmosphere and delicious food. Try the specials, they are always amazing. From a simple cup of great coffee to a wonderful dinner of a steak sandwich and everything in between, you cant go wrong at the Farmhouse Cafe. Plus it is a beautiful structure, impressive. Also love the new website, well done. Hope to see you soon at the Farmhouse.

1st they sit us outside under a canopy in 30 degree weather, freezing. The food was subpar and the pricing was on the high side. Now the service, horrible. We had to hunt down our waiter 3 times. I had to get up 3 times to find him. He was more concerned about checking his Instagram then doing his job. If youre a tree hugging hippie, you may like the food and be ok with getting your own food.

The service here is terrible. They are nice and the food is "OK" but extremely overpriced... Impossible to get a servers attention, I need to walk over to the server station every time I come here, and the servers are usually just standing around talking. Cupcakes are about $5 , as are shakes, which is ridiculous.

The food is worth the price. This is probably the best diner food and drink around. I just have to say if you get eggs that come with potatoes, they are amazing. The potatoes are perfectly cooked and seasoned. There teas are amazing quality, definitely not the cheap stuff you get from some bagle shop.

The food was tasty and simple. Hummus and orange appetiser salad were both good. The beef stew resembled a minestrone with beef. Unfortunately, the espresso was hands down the worst Ive ever had. Very acidic and left a bad taste in my mouth. Forced myself to finish it only because it cost 2.75.

A nice and cozy restaurant. We had patio seat and not allowed to use laptop but they let us use it. Friendly service with good selection of teas and coffees. It was getting colder as it was getting darker and asked to turn the outside heater on but it did not work so we had to leave.

Excellent place for food and family friendly. Food is delicious and the choices have some very interesting options that are not found in every other restaurant. Servers are friendly and service is typically very fast.
