"Good biryani, inexpensive wine, friendly service" - this pretty much sez it all. The biryani is perfectly serviceable, satisfies any craving you night have, but wont exactly send you rushing back for more the next day (the flavors are still slightly discrete and raw, with the whole being ever so slightly less than the sum of the parts. OTOH, the chicken in the biryani is, definitely, unctuous. Sooo, YMMV) As for the rest, stay away from the kebabs, naan, and ramen(seriously). And yeah, inexpensive wine, friendly service...

Taste is not consistent in every visit. When I ordered same menu second visit taste was different. I am disappointed. We ordered chicken biryani and bagare baigan. Bagare baigan was awesome. One of the best I had so far. My friend liked chicken biryani Ok. She mentioned it wasnt the best she had so far. Part I did not like. Restaurant staff was not in sync at all. 3 different people came to check if we gave ordered. The food came to our table 30 minutes late and that to enquiring about it 2 times.

This is one of the very few great authentic Indian restaurants in the vicinity. The blend of Indian spices in the food is perfect at this place. I always get the butter chicken which the chef had suggested the first time I came here and its probably the best gravy I have had in the past few years I have been here in Connecticut. The Chicken Bhuna is a very different and flavorful dish to have too. Keep up the good work Chutni and you will find great clientale!! :) :)

Very slow in service, dull place and the manager or the owner didnt seem to care if we were served on time! Had to wait one and a half hour for paneer Tikka masala with garlic naan, and served paneer tikkas (starter) instead of the paneer Tikka masala, so had to wait another 20 minutes for paneer Tikka masala, was it worth the wait and delay? The food was decent, though they serve the worst pani Puri Ive ever eaten! The restaurant was even crowded on a Sunday night!

Best Indian restaurant in Stamford city. I love everything here ranging from their biryanis to yummy desserts. I fell in love with their garlic naan and haleem which is available over the weekends. Food is lil bit expensive but it is definitely worth it. They do offer take outs and catering orders for large groups. Staff is quite friendly and good. Will enjoy eating here until I am in stamford. Kudos.

I have been to many restaurants of all types and budgets, this new restaurant completely redefines what great food truly is. The chicken kebab is absolutely MIND BLOWING! You must try it! The flavors are so rich and delicious that I will never eat chicken kebab in any other local restaurant. This was one of the best food experiences of my life.

Great and nearly authentic India food. More of the Andhra style and well made and really huge portions for the price. Have a four star just because of the wait time. If you are coming in a group or double I suggest you to order as a group instead of individual menu items. But again for the price food is great in taste and quantity. Keep it up.

The best Indian restaurant in Stamford period. They also have a good selection of Indo Chinese cuisine and local Bombay Street food (chaat). It is a small place but the food is amazon. Try out their chicken biryani and goat biryani. Also the chicken Tikka masala along with chicken 65. The service can be a little slow sometime.

Amazing food and Sarath the owner was very nice and made the food to our preference. We were in Stamford for 2 nights. After our first trip to the restaurant, we were so in love with the food, we went back again the next night as well. Sarath keep rocking, whenever am in Stamford again, you know where I will be eating.

One of the best Indian restaurants I visited so far. I ordered kababs and Chicken Biryani, the kababs were so fresh and tasty and I must say it is one of the best biryanis I have tasted in the recent past. Must visit place if you are looking to taste some authentic Hyderabadi food.

Everything I tried was excellent! Service was very good. You should try Gobi Manchurian, I never thought cauliflower could taste that good. I also had their chicken kebab, chicken tikka masala and Samosa. Try this restaurant you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely declicius. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and my SO ordered lamb korma. Both were incredible. Pretty inexpensive, too for how great the quality of the food is. Definitely will be coming back to try more of the menu!

Excellent food, reasonable prices for Stamford. Tried the Chaat, some biryani and some kebabs, all were excellent. Good service too. Small selection of beers, mostly lagers, but the food was good enough to ignore that.

I have tried 5 restaurants in Stamford for North Indian food (I think there are only 5), nothing compares to this place. Im now a regular customer. It doesnt have a wide spread, but that doesnt bother me much.

A bit awkward to be serving both biryani and ramen. That said the biyani is great. The spices were on point and the goat is flavorful. The ramen is pretty tasty but doesnt seem to fit the menu.
