Three tips: 1) CASH ONLY; 2) there are TWO menus here (a paper one and one on the wall), go with the menu on the wall. More authentic. 3) Ordering chicken can be tricky here because a lot of their chicken is fried "parts" rather than stir-fried white meat, so if you care, make sure you ask if chicken is white/dark/fried/stir-fried. TRY THIS: salt n pepper fish and eggplant with basil (two separate dishes that I eat together). The fish is like the most delicious fried catfish you will EVER put in your mouth! Its perfectly seasoned and a little spicy, and just...MMMPH! So good! The eggplant has tiny bits of pork in it and a brown basil sauce...again...just too good! The portions are quite large here. Come hungry! Thank me later for the tip on what to order!!! lol

Best authentic Chinese food in Bloomington. Very reminiscent of food in China Town. Not the nicest restaurant, definitely a hole in the wall, but is owners keep everything clean. Do not order off the Americanized menu though, as the Chinese menu (with English descriptions) has far better variety and taste. Everything is made to order to your personal spice level, and served fresh in huge quantities. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Chinese food, as you will not be let down. The shredded pork dishes are outstanding, and the spicy dishes contain Thai chilis. The decor rating is the only reason this place does not have a 30/30.

If you want authentic, Beijing stye food, order not from the printed menu, but ask for authentic stye dishes. It is the tastiest Chinese food in Indiana. You cant get this good uness you go all the way to Chicago. Dishes to ask for: Mouth-Numbing Cold Beef (with cilantro) Spicy Chicken with Peppers Bok-choy with Garlic Eggplant and Ground Beef Lamb and Napa Cabbage Soup Enjoy!

Best Chinese food in Bloomington. They have all your Americanized favorites as well as what i would describe as *real* chinese food (i.e. food you would find in China). Never been disappointed by anything i have tried there. I would like to see them take cards but cant fault them for how they want to run their business.

Quite possibly the best in town. Smaller "Americanized" menu compared to most other spots in town and even those dishes are a step above what you may be used to. Explore then menu and order something you have never had, or may even be outside of your normal palette- you wont be disappointed!

Authentic Chinese food, from what I am told, and it is super delicious. I stayed away from this place for far too long before I realized it was no longer the same type of restaurant as the Chinese fast-food that used to be at that location. Highly recommended.

This is in my opinion the best Chinese food in town. The menu has a wide variety of authentic Chinese as well as the American Chinese staples. It may be a hole in the wall but that doesnt stop romantic coming back.
