Ate there on Cinco De Mayo because all of the other Mexican places were packed. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, and the service. Both were above average. If youre looking for Taco Bell or Chipotle food, this may not be the place for you, as its more authentic Mexican cuisine. In our party we had arroz con pollo y queso, chili rellenos, and one of the biggest burritos I have ever seen. All three of us enjoyed our meals which were served hot, and quickly. Not a four star establishment by any means (although Ive given it a four star rating), but a good solid Mexican restaurant, in which the food is not over priced. The staff was also very friendly and responsive.

They have the typical fare - basically the same menu you see at any Mexican place like this, including (in Asheville) La Carretta, El Chapala, etc. The staff seems a bit more friendly. Location is convenient for both downtown and Biltmore area, so a plus there. The food isnt anything to write home about (ok, so I am writing about it...but anyway!) but its always been hot, fresh, and tasty for me. Bottom line: dont come out of your way to eat here, but if youre in the area and hankering for a taco, stop by.

Stopped here on a Saturday evening because it was a bit out of the rush of downtown and we are so happy we did. The Pollo Fiesta was amazing, plenty of chicken to go along with all the perfectly cooked veggies. Service was great- there when we needed it but we never felt rushed. Obsessed with the complimentary bean dip and loved all the different flavors at the salsa bar. Cant wait to come back to Asheville and eat here again.

Pro: My Shrimp Cancun was ok, not stellar. Cons: Wifes taco salad only had a half slice of tomato and both dishes quite bland. Also, we really dont want to listen to both spanish (or any language) TV AND ceiling speaker Mex music at the same time. I asked the waitress if they could turn down the TV and was told I should move. DING! You win the prize of never seeing me again!

The bean dip is spicy... you have been warned (you still wont be able to stop eating it! Seriously, halfway through dinner two Hobbits wandered in and tried to toss a ring into my friend Nicoles mouth.) Great food, prompt service, reasonable prices.

I recommend this restaurant because they just have great food!!! It actually feels like authentic Mexican food not Californian style! The salsa bar is the best,it has a variety of salsas that are really good! I certainly will be back for some more!

Very good food and service. I really like the fact they have a guacamole sauce on the salsa bar. Some decent heat and good taste. 4 stars because Im still searching for that perfect red salsa. Would definitely recommend.

This is a good Mexican style restaurant. The food is great everything Ive eaten so far was fantastic. The chips and salsa is good aswell and the bean dip they bring with the chips.

SADDEST FISH TACOS EVER! Looked and tasted like I could get fresher ones at the Long John Silvers next door... Hell, year old fish sticks look better in comparison.

The food is amazing, very authentic. They have a little sauce bar too. Its a little bit low key and inexpensive. The bathroom is not too clean but its alright.
