Food is great....!!! Service is terrible...!!! Chairs are sticky and have not been degreased in years...!!!Server stood at our table towards the end of our meal. I waited until you moved and pulled out my credit card. As soon as she saw the credit card (CC), she runs back over to our table. I was getting up to pay the bill at the front desk as always. She is behind me and asks if I can move so she can pick up my CC. I told her to be patient I had to put on my glasses, place my wallet in my purse and then retrieve my cell phone off of the table. The server violated my personal space...reached between my arm and took the in food bill and credit card off the table. As I turned and looked at her she says (traditional Accent)..."Tine to pay now"...I just looked at her and shook my head. Never eat there again....Never again...!!!

Classic Islandia buffet. This is a location that on first thought might seem awful. Reading all other reviews, which were quite mixed. Some with very offensive thoughts, that can really keep people from coming through the doors. I have not been here in about six years and on that note a lot has changed. The decor and appearance of the place is awful. Condition of all furnishings and lighting fixtures leave much to be desired. This being said; all the food was fairly fresh and tasted fine. Nothing offensive in the way of the food. The main issue, is you are only allotted one napkin per customer. My guest I was with,was displeased with this. As for myself, it wasnt the worst, but did leave me wondering. Is there food on my face? All in all very much worth the 10 bucks on a Wednesday at 3pmish.

This place is absolutely disgusting! What a disappointment. Years ago this was my husband and my favorite buffet, its been a while but we finally made it out here and gave it a try for the first time in about 4 years. We were so grossed out by how dirty the carpeted walls are. Why would you carpet walls anyway? The upholstery on the been hes have been torn and taped back together with red duct tape. Some of our favorite foods werent offered anymore and the sushi looked rancid. The salmon sushi had a dingy beige-pink color to it, yuk! Not only that but their price has increased significantly since the last time we were here. Geese, take the extra money and clean your restaurant!. Will never come back, Im so grossed out right now!

Dear readers I took the time to write this small article as a review, to inform you that the quality of food served at dinner is absolutely un digestable. Sounds to me like this restaurant is looking to serve left over overs at this time. From salad to shrimp to meets and others. All uncooked not well prepared. I came to a point where i doubed the water was safe. Do not be afraid to ask for your cash back, i paid $35 for complete garbage. Fortunately i spokey mind and recovered $20 from my $35. Please reconsider investing the gas money to get what you are paying for. Do not trust the staff, couldnt make a simple coffee. Untrustworthy staff if you want to make a good impression on a date do not come here. Sincerely J

When you have a Hungry mans appetite and a poor mans budget, here is the place to be. Tempting dishes laid out in a row and you are hard put to choose. Just put a piece on the plate and if you like it , well you know what to do. Sorry no shovels aloud but if you play it right this dining experience can last you a few hours. Unfortunately, you just may need a row truck to remove yourself from the premises. Just saying. GETTING full has never easier or inexpensive. Your wallet breathes a sigh of relief as it doesnt have to strong arm you into keeping a maximum of bills on his side . Ready, set go.....set the new Pacman record! I, on the other hand, need practice!

wow, this place is terrible. Arrived 6pm on a Thursday night. Food was out already too long and no new food in sight. The mongolian BBQ station had a woman who did not understand a word of english,so have no idea how I was suppose to get what I wanted to eat. Only 1/4 of the food tasted just all right but it was not hot. What I am trying to figure out is how they afford to pay the rent when I was only 1 out 10 tables served. Considering I only found 2 workers that spoke a little english, this place must just a coverup for human trafficing or something not kosher.

Never have I been to a restaurant that was so dirty and disgusting. The vents have black soot-like residue on them and the carpeted walls(yes carpet on the walls...) are bubbling from clearly a serious moisture issue. Come to find out they were covering up what looked like a leak that soaked the carpeted walls with paper menus stapled to the wall! It looked just like black mold! After complaining to management they refused to give us a refund, but dont worry the department of health is already on the way after a phone call! Karma sure is sweet!

Service was good, and the mongolian grill was good. Regular buffet food was sub par, tsao chicken tasted/felt like it was turkey gizzard opposed to actual chicken pieces. Ribs were basically bone, sauce, & fat. Wontons....OK. Vegetable fried rice sub par. Would not go back, especially at $16.00+ for 1 adult. Food did not upset the stomach as others have said, felt fine, might have been because stayed away from the buffet and used the mongolian grill.

My boyfriends family and I have been going there for 3 years. For the first year the food was good, and worth the price, but the last time we went, my boyfriend got sick almost immediately after we left, and I was sick the day after, and we are completely different things. The booths are filthy, the tables and chairs are sticky, and theres mold on the ceiling and floor. Save your money, its really not worth it.

We were filing our plates when my daughter asked.me.what knd of bug was on the sushi ....it was a roach ....i tkld the hostess and she didnt seem surprised ... pickrd up the.tray and.walked to the.kitchen .. no apology nothing ... needless to say we left without eating ... she brougbt the tray with the roach to the kitchen !!!! Annd there is never just one roach. .. will NEVeR go there again

Wow, maybe I caught them in a good day compared to some reviewers but the food is pretty good and its been a over 24 hrs since I ate there haha. But Ive been to crappy chinese restaurants in NYC and compared to them, this place isnt bad. The decor need a lil spruce up, the high ceilings have a lot of potential but then again this is a buffet and Im not here to review the decor..

I went with my wife and two kids and have to say that they really let this place go. I dont think they did any upkeep in years, the bathrooms were horrendous and Im a guy who usually doesnt care but I wouldnt let my dog eat or pee there! Mad? nah just disappointed.
