Staff was friendly and sweet but the food lacked flavor and sustenance. The chicken for the chicken parmesean sandwich was soggy and in strips it was odd. The balls of rice? I believe it was supposed to be boudain balls were just balls of fried rice. Most times boudain has some sort of meat and flavor to it. This lacked both. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was the best thing we had.

I dont know why this place gets such good reviews. The pizza was tasteless at best, and the employees made me feel unwelcome. The ordering process left me confused and feeling out of place, perhaps it was the cold unfriendly employees. Go to Pizza One right down the street. The dining area is small but the pizza is really good and the employees have always been friendly to me.

Wasnt thrilled with V&J. Just barely OK in my opinion. The sign behind the counter made me laugh. It read: Finish your cell phone conversation BEFORE ordering! Chastising the customer in any capacity displays a lack of business savvy, IMHO. Maybe you can be like that if people are beating a path to your door, which clearly is NOT the case here.

Pizza is ok, employees on the other hand not so much. Store doesnt have a welcoming atmosphere. They all look like they bring all their personal problems to work all look miserable, not a welcoming image at all. Staring me down as if Im going to leave without paying for my food. Bad experience.

Recently went back here after moving away about 6 years ago and almost nothing has changed. They may have painted, added a bench, and gotten a new soda machine, but the pizza is exactly as I remembered it. Cant find a better slice in the area. Absolutely delicious.

Always friendly, fast and accommodating. I was holding 4 boxes of pizza and dropped one on the way out holding the door for my toddler, without hesitation they yelled over to come back in and get a replacement at no charge. Lifesavers !!! And everything is DELISH!

V&J is basically the only place i get pizza from when Im in town. Best pizza in north jersey in my opinion, although i dont try too many other places. The workers can be rude or unfriendly sometimes, but i can over look that for their pizza.

First place I ever had a chicken parm sandwich and fell in love with it. Ive had good chicken parms at other places but theirs are the best. The pizza itself is soo delicious, one of my favorite places for pepperoni pizza.

Went here for quick slices and a pasta as we were passing by on 23. Were pleasantly surprised. Pizza was excellent and the guy that served the pizza even cut up my toddlers slice into tiny pieces. Super impressive!

Margherira slice was average. Ham & cheese calzone was just okay. Standard ham cold cut used. Marinara sauce is sweet and light, not especially flavorful. Lots of seating for groups and cute outside tables.
