The atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant itself is nice. The biggest problem is that it is connected to a regular bar and if you are unfortunate enough to sit relatively near the door to the bar the smoke from the cigarettes billows in from the bar and ruins the experience. They try to be fancy and the prices are reflecting that with their food (being high prices for plates). But, at least in my opinion, is not worth the prices that they charge. Dont get me wrong the food is good, just not worth the price. Overall, however, it is a pretty good place despite the prices and the bar next door.

Eh. Overpriced for the quality. I ordered a few appetizers to see what the food was like. Crab dip, mozzarella, and wings. $30. All were just mediocre at best. The bread for the dip was literally 3 small dinner rolls not even sliced completely through so you had ripped shreds of bread to try to eat the bland dip that was basically all cream cheese with a sprinkle of Crab on top. Wings left a weird aftertaste. Nothing was finished, we all just took a couple bites of each and threw the rest away. Will just stick to the beers from now on...what a waste of money.

The service is excellent but "what did they do to the avocado" in the steak salad. It was horrible. Way too many sauteed peppers, too. Dinner was so so with seafood not very fresh. The crab cake they tauted had a lot of filler. The snapper soup is really chicken corn soup with stringy turtle meat, not the divine bisque-like soup with a couple drops of sherry. The porch has no view of the creek at all, just the road. Im not sure where the good reviews come from, but we will not go there again.

My husband and I just left there after enjoying the Thanksgiving brunch. All the food was exceptional. Turkey, real mashed potatoes, white corn, stuffing, etc...of course breakfast foods too. And what was especially amazing was the chocolate raspberry butter. To die for! My husband and I always enjoy ourselves when we eat at the Conewago Inn. When you have great staff and service, you definitely want to return. Even the owner comes around to see how you are enjoying your time.

Went for Sunday brunch with my wife. You can only get the buffet while they are serving brunch. The rest of the menu wasnt available. It wasnt cheap either, 24.95. Most of the food was good, but we could tell it had been sitting out for a while. Potatoes were cold and shrimp were mushy. Omelette station and carving station were both excellent though. Crab cakes were good too.

The Sweet and Sour shrimp is unbelievable! I always get a double order when I go there. The owner is terrific and his son is a great chef! The ambience is fantastic, and its a good vibe with people who really care about what they do. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Conewago Inn! Be sure to get the Shrimp!!

Horrible. Cream of crab and asparagus was like thickened chicken broth with chunks of "crab" which had no taste. The asparagus was just hard chunks of stem. Crab dip was bland and had the same mystery crab meat on top. VERY disapointing this used to be the go to spot for good seafood! And very over priced

The owners son John is not a good cook we had a poor meal .and questioned the wing special with the owner ...wing special only available at the bar ..she was very rude ...the customer apparently is not rite ..I will not be spending any money at this establishment

the owners son is the Chef, and he makes the most delightful dishes. Ive never had a bad meal or bad service there. Even in the Bar the food is terrific--best burger! The Prime rib is succulent, and perfectly cooked, and their desserts are simply divine.

Love the food dont like waiting an hour for my food everytime I go. I am actually currently waiting for food on my mothers birthday and its been over an hour since we ordered. A party of 4 ordered after we did and already have there food. So sick of it.

My wife and I ordered a dinner for 32.99 and a appetizer to share and we got a split charge for wanting to share a meal. If you divide that by two dont you think that was enough not to get a split charge !!!!!

Good atmosphere to hang out at the bar. Ive never gone there just for dinner, but they have really good happy hour specials on food and drinks. And. Any food Ive ever ordered was really good. Friendly staff.
