As a customer who has been going to this particular Panera Bread since they opened (around eight years, soon to be nine), I feel the need to commend the staff here for their undeniable dedication as well as their unfailing ability to ensure that I - along with many other customers - leave with not only delicious food, but a smile on my face. I am an attorney and must admit that I believe myself to be incapable of completing the work these employees are required to on a daily basis. Consequently, I believe that it is necessary for me to dismiss three unfair and slanderous reviews that have been made here. Zachariah Anderson, Katelyn McCarty, as well as Amanda McCarty were perhaps the three most disrespectful people I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. They were your typical young malcontents who felt the need to disobey management and repeatedly harassed their fellow hardworking co-workers in front of me while I was placing my order at the cash register or grabbing my food to go. However, I believe that their own behavior speaks further than what I may say as, although they have left the store, the former "employees" (I seriously doubt that they earned such a title; one that should be strictly reserved for those that actually participate in the workplace) proceed to slander this Panera Bread online. If I am to assume correctly, they were most likely thrilled at the concept of being granted the anonymity often associated with the Internet, choosing to abuse such a privilege by making false accusations. Thus, because their own immaturity speaks volumes, all I can do is urge that you visit this excellent bakery and try their coffee or find your favorite U-Pick-2. On the contrary of what some might say, the staff are friendly and the store is always incredibly clean behind the counter as well as beyond the counter. Additionally, the speed and quality of service has yet to be trumped by any other fast food place I have stepped into. When one is to add their delicious, high-quality food on top of this combination, this Panera Bread is understandably one of the best places to eat in the Hamptons.

I had worked here for 7 months, the restaurant is disgusting overall including the employees, my manager Sabrina was very nasty to me majority of my experience working there and shes very rude with customers as well. Shes highly unsanitary and unproffesional, Ive witnessed her hitting a flie and if dropping in soup and her picking it out with her OWN hands! The other manager Charlie is a complete moron and shouldnt even have the position as a manager as he doesnt know how to speak with customers hes very rude. The restaurant is very dirty behind counters and the floors, and the managers need to learn how to do their jobs properly. I deffinitley reccomend the panera in riverhead or patchogue, theyre very clean w/ well trained managers and employees.

Former employee, roaches ran free, floors were never really cleaned, mopped over once and barely swepted. Poorly managed and employees are consistently talked down to by management and customers. Food is unfresh and rarely rotated. Dont trust the meat, we were told to simply change the date on old meat

Previous employee. Not as sanitary as anyone thinks. The managers except for Sarah are extremely rude, unprofessional and act like children. Favoritism runs the store and they dont treat every associate equally like they claim they do. Oh and yes there salads are more than green, they are brown.

The workers especially the people handling your food, are rude derelicts, never change gloves (dirty)!!! Charles the manager is similar and doesnt listen when you ask him for something or if there is a problem etc... He yes yes, yess you nonsense! Pathetic!!!

The workers are so very friendly! The manager Dan goes above and beyond to satisfy every customer every time! This is a great friendly place to grab a bite to eat and unwind. I highly recommend hampton bays panera to every one!

Quick, good service and consistently decent food. Would often stop here in the morning to grab breakfast and lunch for later to eat on the beach. Easy parking, good wi-fi, clean bathrooms ... but service can be a tad slow.
