Out of state visitor on a Wednesday. There were only two waitresses tonight (trivia night) so the slow service was expected and nothing to be upset about. The food was really good for me. I got the tacos (both options) and was almost satisfied... Im a big guy so two tacos by themselves didnt fill the tank. Easily fixed with a second order because they were that good. The rest of my group ordered pizzas and their only complaint was them being a little too burned on the bottom. But Im not as picky. They enjoyed the rest of the pizzas. The beer selection was on point. Craft only taps is my kinda place. Four selection flight of brew was good for me. Local brew is pretty good. More pale ales for this dark brew guy but still a tasty selection. Overall I liked this place. If I ever make my way back here I know I have a place to go.

Always a good time coming out here. A few of us from work usually come out here once a week on Thursdays for their glass night. Its always nice to try all kinds of different brew and you get to keep the featured beer glass of the night. The owners, Jason and Errika are really nice and if they are working that night, you usually see them walking around seeing how things are. Besides the beer, the food here is excellent. They have a pretty big variety of meals and appetizers. They try to incorporate beer whenever they can too. So the pizza dough and their cheese sauce have beer in them and they are both amazing. The atmosphere here is pretty nice too with a big mix of people in the crowd. Never have had any issues and will continue to go.

Ive been here several times since they opened 10 months ago. I was not to impressed when it first opened, but I did see the potential. When they started, there was very little grub to go with the pub and only the promise of in premises brewed beer. But they had a pretty good selection. This last time in the first week of may 16, I finally see the wait has paid off. Great beer, the fish-n-chips were outstanding. The menu now has much more than pizza, plus appetizers, and the aforementioned pizzas ... Aaron, the bartender obviously likes to talk beer and knows what he is serving. I am replete!

First time here, and it was Awful, waited 45 minutes to get our appetizer (which we got along with the main course) the fried mushrooms were made with a very cheap batter, no flavor to them either, we ordered the fish and chips, they were Luke warm and again the same bland batter, the fries were hotter than the fish and not very tasty either, the homemade tartar sauce was bland as well, and finally they had some music playing throughout the place, it was the most boring music ever, some sort of Crappy Rap type of instrumental music, no singing, just drum bets and other noise... Never coming back

Like others have said, the fish and chips plate is delicious. It is a crispy batter and tender flaky fish. The fries are hand cut, but dont seem to be pre-blanched. So those that like a flopier fry (like my wife) are in for a treat. Those that like a crisper fry (like me) are a little out of luck. We had the fried mushrooms as an appetizer and they were great too. Whatever you do, dont forget to stop by the bar and say hi to Aaron and find out what are the current made in house beers on tap.

I really want to like this place because its the only craft beer joint near my house. They have decent pizza and a pretty good craft beer selection but the service is horrible... I wish I had a better vocabulary to describe how bad the service is. Weve been here three times and ever time we hope it will be better, but its not. We hope it gets better, but at this rate we dont plan on coming back.

Tuesday night review, because every night is different. Its chill, good crowd, but not crowded which means great service. Im a porter/ stout guy, and Im in heaven here. Ordered the beer cheese burger and messy fries. Better than I thought it would be. Seriously great food. And Its a Cubs bar. 10% off on my tab on Nationally televised Cubs games. Im home. Love this place.

Best brew pub and the best thing about SA. This place stacks up well to other pubs in cities known for this concept so the NW should be thankful this place even exist. Excellent pricing structure for beer and they make brilliant small batches in house. Theyre also competent purveyors of national selections to offer their customers. These guys know this industry. Support them.

A great brewery and taproom off the beaten path with the feel of a neighborhood pub. The food is a mix of standards, like pizza (theirs uses spent brewing grains in the crust), and specialty grub like Texas poutine fries (a nice spin on a Canadian standard). They brew their own and the taps are continually being updated. I recommend trying it for yourself.

Its ok. Feels like a generic Mexican restaurant that was converted into a bar type establishment. Felt weird. Was really bright and the waiters were eager, but thats kind of the opposite of what I thought it was going to be. They should block the windows, try some dimmer lighting, and focus on local beer, since theyre trying to be a "brewery" kind of place.

Beer selection was great, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, the prices were more than reasonable, and our server answered all of our questions in addition to providing excellent service. My first experience here will certainly not be my last. Im already looking forward to my next visit.

Awesome beer and food! Their beer selection is pretty vast and they brew a few of their own which are excellent. The pizzas, pulled Pork and Texas poutine are also excellent. Our server was also amazing. This will become our new regular spot. Setup pretty well for kids as well!

The place is a dive and sells craft beer. Overall is is good with good food. Only bad experience I had was when I had to repeat my drink order 3 times to the waitress only to still get the wrong beer. Other than that the place is good, but service needs a bit of help.

I love this place. If you live by the northwest side you know we dont have much bars or pretty much anything not chain or mexican food. The bar tenders are very nice and helpful. They have lots of beer on tab, just enough to have a few different beers ever so often.

Our family had an awesome experience at the Madpecker. The gang there was super friendly. They also have a terrific selection of excellent beers. Highly recommend stopping in for a pint when you get the chance. The homemade pizza was topping on the cake as well

Un lugar en el cuál relajarse uno con una buena cerveza artesanal. La comida no es gran cosa. Las pizzas son lo mejor.

Good beer selection but the food was mediocre. Burger was burnt on the outside, soft in the middle.. Staff was friendly but the customers should probably learn when they had enough and stop drinking, couple of nimrods were a little out of control.

Visiting from out of state. One server was great. She was friendly helpful attentive. Other server was not. He was a beer snob who snubbed us and got a superiority complex when we asked about the local micro brews. Food was decent, beer was cold.
