Good, tasty burgers; But overpriced. A cheese burger w/bacon, fries and a milkshake came out to $18 per person. So their direct competition isnt BK or McDonalds. No, their direct competition are the casual dining restaurants like PlanB, Ruby Tuesday, Red Robin, and TGI Fridays. These other chains also offer high quality burgers as well. The experience is better at those other restaurants with prices that are actually lower. Customer Service is also lacking at this particular Manchester, CT location. Im not one to jump on the bandwagon with the rest of the sheeps and give unmerited praise for any establishment because its popular. I prefer to be honest and do an apple to apples comparison based on price points. It is unfair to compare this with the drive through window franchise place (MickyDs, BK, Wendys) . Instead, compare their burgers with the better burger places around the Buckland/Evergreen mall surroundings. If you managed to get a good Groupon for five guys, then it might be worth the visit. But again, this place needs to upgrade their customer service with the public. Just a word of caution, take some of the 5 star reviews on here with a grain of salt.

Fantastic tasting burgers, Amazing fries...I dont think it is healthy but this is the best tasting burger in town - hands down. The grease bleeds through the brown paper bags. Burgers, fries, and milkshakes made the old fashioned way - and the taste is pure. Free Peanuts in the shell while you wait/dine. Fancy touchscreen coke machines that have every flavor. New restaurant was very busy but the line moved quickly and food was ready fast too. Plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating. It was fun to see where the farm was located for todays potatoes. Only negative: The air conditioning inside was set to sub-zero... it was a 90 degree day, I like it cold and find it refreshing most of the time, but even I thought it felt like a walk in refrigerator.

After noticing that Five Guys opened a location near me I was excited to dine here. I finally visited the restaurant and my experience there was horrible. The woman at the cashier was very dry and unwelcoming. The lobby area was very unsanitary, which surprised me due to the recent opening of the location. After receiving my food, the burgers were sloppy, mishandled, and slightly uncooked. The fries were soggy, cold, and tasted as if they have been out for quite some time. I will not dine at this location again. Very dissapointed.

Excellent quality burgers and fries in a fun fast paced environment. Order at the counter and watch your food be cooked. Fresh cut fries from Idaho potatoes, excellent quality fresh meat, and all the toppings you can dream of. Staff is friendly and courteous. Very clean kitchen and sitting area. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely will return!

Not only is Five Guys great to begin with, this location is excellent. Fries were maybe some of the best Ive ever had. Staff was really friendly and fast. Burgers, as usual, were reliably delicious. Great place to stop if youre traveling because its an easy on and off the interstate.
