First and long overdue, I wanted to take a moment to comment/review Taz. He is very helpful, intellectual, and much more. Definitely should be given more responsibility and a raise. I was very impressed. He receives 5 stars. Now to other areas, I had a asked a manager a question, looking for something and he was not all that helpful, stating they dont have it; even though the shelf had the tag and product on it, I asked if he could double check and brushed me off. Online ordering.... 2 out of 5 times it was correct. Two managers, very helpful and they addressed and fixed it. Thank you. I am withholding the names. I loved when regional was on scene, they observed me looking for something and asked if they could help. I explained what I was seeking and they promptly called the manager for that department and had it handled. So thank you for those who made it positive and work on the deli, the online ordering, please read it. To the manager who refused to read the shelf and check... it is your job to delegate or look. Cashiers, the majority are awesome, a few not so much. Overall I give it 4.5, it wont allow me to do the stars. Thanks Publix. Always my preference to any grocery store.

On Monday June 27 2016 around 9:30 pm I came to the Deli and informed them that Id just learned of a death in the family. I needed food for the bereaved family gathering at my nephews place and lots of it. I ordered 100 wings and the biggest sandwich platter they sold. It looked like they were about to close when I got there but the Deli manager told her crew there was more work to do. Actually it was more like she rallied the troops. Over the next 20 or 30 minutes, nobody grumbled about having to work late. Everyone maintained a professionally pleasant demeanor as they worked like crazy to fill my order. They got the 100 UN-breaded wings cooked and I went for a 50 breaded that was already done. The sandwich platter looked like it had about 50 sandwiches on it. When I got it all back to my nephews so quickly they had Publix quality, delicious food to serve the steady stream of well-wishers. I just got back from the wake and realized that the crew I encountered at the Deli on the night this ordeal began should be commended. They provided excellent service on an enormous task late in their shifts. They are true professionals who make it a pleasure to shop at Publix.

This Publix is superior to the one on Busch Blvd. by far. It is normally clean, and the workers respectful and helpful. Their sub-making department could use some work, and keeping their open air products (potato salad, chicken, deli items) that need hand-scooping by a clerk needs attention. They allow these items to dry out, and then they taste horrible. Also....WATCH THEIR TAXATION. Ive caught Publix on numerous occasions taxing items that should not be taxed. It may only be a few dollars here and there, but in this economy every cent counts. I finally complained to a mgr at the Busch store and was met with hostility and condescension. After calling corporate I was compensated, but if Im the only one notifying them of their errors they will continue to take your cash wrongfully. And remember, they never need to report it at the end of the year. Free money, YOUR money they dont deserve. Overall, I find Publix the best store for cleanliness, wide range of products, pricing, organic foods, etc. A good market.

This is a pretty standard mid size publix. Usually very clean and stocked. Pharmacy is good. Bakery is great. I had my wedding cake custom done at this location and everyone complimented me on it, they couldnt believe it was a publix cake! Selection here is good for Hispanic foods, they also have guava pastries, empanadas and stuffed potatoes in the hot case in the bakery. Lacking slightly in the specialty baking items, but not too bad. I can get most everything including tapioca flour for my naan bread. Also lacking on Asian items like only 1 stir fry sauce that I cant eat because of MSG. They seem to focus on ready made items, so publix frozen veggies are steam fresh bags, which I dislike. I buy the other brand just for that. Wine/beer is a good selection, nice selection of craft brews. Overall satisfied. Could improve on sauce selection. Also if you go to the bakery really early (like before 10am) sometimes the fresh bread isnt fully stocked yet. (Still cooling & bagging bread in the early hours).

Ive been shopping at Publix for years. I recently moved to Temple Terrace and I have to admit, this Publix ranks towards the bottom. About a month ago I was shopping and I saw an employee place a dust pan that was on the floor on top of some fruit. I decided to give it another try and visited the deli section. The soup had been in the kettle so long, the rice had almost turned to mush. Then someone put the wrong soup containers in the rack. I had to wait for the cashier to go get the correct price. Wouldnt you think they would have the price of soups some where in the register? I only use this Publix when Im in a hurry and only need a few items. I travel to the Publix in my old neighborhood to do my shopping.

The stores management has really gone down hill. I love publix, however the one on fowler has started hiring a lot of rude employees. Tonight i was waiting for the bathroom to be vacant by the employees (they were cleaning the bathroom) and the lady asked me "do you need to pee pee?" Another employee almost ran into me and did not even acknowledge me . It seems as though all of their cashiers are high school girls that talk to each other and ignore the customer. The publix in new tampa is fantastic, i guess Ill go there from now on .

The cake from publix was exactly as I dreamed it would be. They worked with our budget. They matched our colors exactly (we brought in a color swatch). We did a different filling for each layer and the sheet cake (which we bought to save money by having a smaller wedding cake). The cake was very reasonably priced. It was perfectly designed. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was tasty and people loved it.

Ive been shopping there for years and always loved this store. Great service, clean, well organized, attentive & friendly staff including the super efficient pharmacy. I happily mention they hire a few "challenged" people as baggers; nice, competent people. And the many college students who work there seem to love their jobs. George Jenkins would be proud. I knew him in the 60s when I worked for Publix 5 years.

Publix maintains top quality product lines, at fair prices, with some great bargains too. They are consistent with inventory being "in-stock", and when I ask for something they dont carry... by gosh they GET-it. I grew up in a "Grocer Family" and am very critical of merchants. Publix earns Customer loyalty the Old Fashioned Way: They work for it. Thank You Publix...! Gary Haun Tampa

This publix has the worst sub making department. It is literally painful to watch these people try to make a sandwich. You would think publix management would put them through a publix sandwich making crash course to increase efficiency. There has never been a time at this location that I did not wait at least 10 minutes for a sandwich.
