Absolutely horrible customer service !!!! The man that picks up the phone to place the orders makes mistakes all the time, and then blames the customers. He had the audacity to blame me for ordering the wrong thing when I had people in front of me listening to the order I placed . The worst part is that they take the bitterness onto the food. Sometimes it can be very dry, and others it taste like its gone spoiled. Extremely disappointed. Me and my coworkers have spent a lot of money with this diner .. you would think theyd be respectful of their loyal customers.

Been coming here for the past 3 yrs and its pretty nice place. Old traditional Italian vibe with a modern touch. I had my sons party here and It was done well. The prices very and are a little on the expensive side, but most of the food is great, at least for me. Staff treats us good everytime and do attend us on a regular, which I appreciate. Coffee is one of their best strength and Im a cappuccino guy, so big PLUS! I recommend this place to anyone who likes an old school vibe with a classic look and very little immaturity.

Our waiter was not very friendly and not very attentive. We received bread rolls on of which had bright red stuff on side and upon mentioning it to the waiter he said it was from the onions which it obviously was not, Ive cooked for many years and never saw onions like that not even cooking with red onions. Now dinner is over and before I could leave the restaurant my stomach is killing me, I spent 20 minutes in the bathroom before they had a chance to offer dessert. Needless to say I wont dine here again.

This is definitely a NO GO... do yourself a favor and skip this place. the waiters are all chatting in groups, we waited about 25 mins to get our water and to take our orders, the food is well below average in taste and preparedness. Out of a 10 being great food, i will give this spot a 2. it took about 10 mins to get refills for our drinks and i had to stop the cleaning boy to fetch the drinks. the prices are moderate. the food and service are NOT GOOD AT ALL I will never visit this establishment again.

Sad to say that Mirage is one of the few traditional diners left in Brooklyn. Family-friendly. Vast menu. Pleasant, attentive staff that will bring you what you want and I dont remember a time when something on the menu was not available.. Never kept waiting for my meal and never pushed to leave. I was asked four or five times if I wanted a refill of my coffee. Diner food is not everyones taste but if you make your way here for the diner experience you wont be disappointed.

Ive been going here for a long time. Im sorry to say that the coffee is awful and the food uneditable. Most of the breakfast foods are passable, but not always. Last time went there I did even eat my food I told the manager but he didnt care. The diner is close to my house easy for me to go to, Im sorry to say is off my list but its just that bad. It lives up to its name of Mirage, you think something worthwhile is ahead but its all an illusion.

My family and I have been coming to the mirage for years. A great owner makes for a great dinner. The food is amazing and fresh. Jose has been a dedicated waiter on staff for 15 years and his skills of carrying a million things at once is incredible to watch. Hes so fast it seems like plates of food appear out of thin air. If in the neighborhood you must stop in and enjoy a relaxing diner experience.

Nice, warm atmosphere from the staff - they and the management are very nice. Portions may be a bit on the small side, but they have the best prices around and the food is always delicious. So stay away from Del Rio and come here for a change; I think youll be pleasantly surprised. BTW - I dont work there, but Ive going here about 20yrs (and Ive been to them all)...

The food is good for a diner; however, the service is always on the below average side. Ive gone to this diner at 1am with people only at 2 other tables, and the waiters just hang out in the back. After waiting over 10 minutes to ask for something, someone finally came out. Again, service is never any good. They only get that 3rd star because of above-average food.

Service took over 15 Minutes to get the main course, Fettuccini pasta was plain, over cooked in plain sour cream, no spices added. Other pasta dish was also over cooked, no spice added, just plain water with tomatoe sause, and bit of cheese. The last time that I visit this place in my years being here, the food cooking went way down to the lowest level possible.

Came to Mirage with my family after a memorial service - we were over 30 people (with a reservation.) Excellent food & service. We were not rushed, and had the privacy to let two 2 year olds run around without bothering anyone else in the diner. Highly recommend -- we will be back (with a smaller crew.)

I was there to watch the US Soccer game - place was at 30% capacity max when I was there, I wasnt getting water refills, and Id settled my bill. Four other servers were watching the game with me, but the manager wanted me out and was quite passive aggressive about it. Classless.

Used to be a regular at this diner every sunday morning. Loved it back then and love it now. The breakfast menu is easy, good and affordable. The service is outstanding and they got valet parking during busy hours. Very satisfying.

Wait staff is always pleasant, Food is fresh and tasty and prices are fair. If I have say something bad its the fact that they have a small parking lot and parking is hard to come by it the area. But its worth it...

This place is nice to visit, conveniently located & the food is decent. Theyre open late & their prices are reasonable. The only thing I didnt like is the waiters vulgar & profane joking among themselves in Spanish.

I met up with a friend in Brooklyn and needed a place to sit and talk. The majority of customers were elderly which didnt bother me but the place felt retro. The food was decent and had a clean look to it.
