So today I ordered lunch online for pickup at this location for my wife, her sister, and myself. I picked it up at the store then went home. When I got home I realized that they forgot my wifes lunch order. She called and explained the situation to the manager. He kindly offered to give her a whole sandwich instead of the half we ordered and a bowl of soup instead of a cup like we ordered. I drive all the way back to the store and he greets me by name and was extremely nice. He gave me my wifes order and then asked me if I wanted a large drink for my trouble. I went and filled up the drink and as I was leaving the manager was at the door. He said, "I know you got family at home take this to share" and it was a large pastry. This is customer service at its finest! Good job on the manager and on the store.

Rough. I got a $10 certificate from a family member who lives by a location 2 hours away and it turns out to be location specific. Went there on a date with my wife and got a brownie that was hard as rocks, I mean brittle. Got the sandwich soup combo and a salad with the brownie......nothing good to say except no food poisoning. Small portions, nothing special and not a bargain. We ended up getting another dinner somewhere else -I am 6 foot, 160 pounds, and a lite eater. This was on a Friday evening with a less than 1/2 packed place. The other location wont give a refund so what I have is a $10 paperweight that can not even hold paper.

Panera Bread has several nice vegetarian options, for example: Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich (love it!), black bean or vegetable soups, cafe salads, egg white & spinach breakfast sandwich... along with their bakery items (muffins, etc.) and a variety of fresh bread loaves to take home for use. Ive ordered their items to go as often as Ive eaten on site. The Visalia Panera tends to be a little more crowded than I like, but thats just personal preference. I wish they would open another Panera in town!

Ok, worst panera in the country! Not only was my rapid pickup not ready at the specified time I ended up having to spend 20 minutes in line just to find out that my order would have been made yet want to cancel my order find out I have to wait 10 business days for it to be transferred back to my debit card on top they did nothing to try and make things right just a half hearted sorry. I highly recommend the subway next door expecially if youre needing quick service.

Great place to grab a sandwich, soup or salad. Love the turkey bacon bravo on ciabatta bread! The soups are great too. I havent tried their pastries, but they looked appetizing and seemed reasonably priced. Servers are nice & friendly. Just be aware that it does get quite crowded during the lunch hour so you may want to call in your order ahead of time. Ashley

Love the food; however, I order my sides all separate and they get it wrong every, single time!!!! And the staff and manager get angry with me for their mistakes!! Not sure about any other stores but this happens on a weekly basis in Porterville, CA. I order 3 salads at a time and dont want anything wilted. Otherwise 4-5 stars!!

Love this bakery. Conveniently located, great menu and an even better staff. In fact the staff is one of the main reasons I return so often, especially Penny. They always have a smile on their face and are happy to serve you. Great food is hard to find but Great Service is even harder. You get both here.

Great customer service..they are friendly and open...food is fresh and delicious so as the restaurant..I gave it it 4 stars because its a bit pricey, but this is the price you will get if you want a clean and healthy options ; )

Penny is a wonderful checker; she is kind with a smile, always asking about my day. Perfect place to read a book with a cup of coffee and a cinnamon crunch bagel. Grab the table by the window looking onto Mooney Blvd.

Breakfast sandwich is mediocre at best. Water for my tea is only luke warm. Staff is running around panicked/crazy and nobody seems to know what theyre doing. But its not busy, so kinda weird.

My husband and I have gone to the Visalia location on two occasions to specifically share the Chicken Sesame Asian Salad. On both occasions they were out of one ingredient to make the salad.

Website says closes at 10pm. Went in at 9:02pm said they are closed, wouldnt help me. Werent even nice about it. 2 girls were just chit chatting
