TO: THE OWNER OF THE APOLLO DINER Your hostess/manager does a poor job at maximizing your revenue..... her negative and nasty attitude also puts limitations on your servers tips..... Is it bad enough that your pricey menu may route customers to another eatery?????? So wouldnt you want everything else to be up to par to retain the customers that are still willing to dine at your establishment?????? She acts as if she holds a monopoly on her position.... and that complaints about her will NEVER reach your ears.... and in most cases this will be true.... because your nasty attitude hostess is also your manager.... Speaking of poor management..... your establishment is located in an area that is shopped by predominantly black americans...... and Ive never seen any front of the house black employees..... Ive only seen them working back of the house..... so Im wondering...... have any qualified blacks applied for serving positions??????? Im sure they have..... Thats another sign of poor management...... while I sat in your restaurant today, 95 % of the customers were black...... not one black employee working front of the house.... and to top everything off..... your hostess/manager has no fear of her employment being in jeopardy because of her nasty attitude..... By the way..... I work in the hospitality industry and Im very well versed in GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.... you may get clientele from being in a busy shopping area..... but understanding that your menu may be a little pricey..... you dont need ANYTHING ELSE taking away from customers failing to return to your establishment in a timely fashion..... your hostess/manager does not seem to hold value within each and every guest.... I frequented your establishment when I did because of the location...... and DEFINITELY not because of the lack of a warm welcoming feeling never received..... Im writing this comment now because todays experience was worst than the previous times before... I paid about 24 dollars for a garden salad..... Thats because I had to pay extra for items such as cheese, eggs and onions..... But I still tipped the server approximately 20%....(Normally I tip over the 20%).... After all..... its not his fault your menu was a little pricey and his manager lacks being a extraordinary manager and a warm welcoming hostess..... but I will not be returning to your establishment again......

Went in there today, purchased two sandwiches for $15 to go. My husband was in car waiting due to no parking in area as usual. When I came out he needed to use bathroom, so he went in dinner. The owner an girl at front refuses to allow him to use restroom, stating they did not believe that his "wife" just came in and spent money there! I am all the way disgusted with the owners behavior! Im appalled at the fact that he would not allow a clean cut man use his establishment despite fact that his wife was in there two minutes ago to pick up breakfast! This will be that last time I ever spend a dollar in this overpriced diner!

Lapin and I came here on Saturday for breakfast. We were seated right away as the restaurant wasnt very busy. Lapin ordered the He-man with coffee and I got the 3 egg omlette. The food was okay, just the standard diner fare. Our waiter wasnt very attentive but that should be expected with most diners. Although, I think he was annoyed that I only ordered an omlette and nothing else. The prices are a bit expensive for a diner but in line for the area. I dont think I would be rushing to try this place again.

I been coming to eat here for awhile . I love the remodeling that was done looks very nice. They serve big portions so be hungry when coming here to eat. Food is a little on the expensive side compared to the prices they use to be. I guess with the upgrades came higher prices . The food is delicious though you will not be disappointed. Lunch hour is usually when its crowded and hard to get a table.

To expensive for what you get 5 dollars for fries, 8 dollars for 7 mozzarella sticks. The steak wrap I got did use real steak which was good but it was also extremely greasy. The waiter was friendly but was not attentive to refills at all and took too long to bring the check. The location itself is clean and the atmosphere is what diners are supposed to be.

This has been my diner for 23 years.I have Watch the owners children grow up here. The food is large portions. Sometimes you can share. The staff is wonderful I have never had a problem here. I like the dinner specials they are taste. I miss this place because I move. But I will be back. Love you all

This is a diner. The menu has the usual sorts of dinner food. Open face sandwiches, pastrami, burgers, pasta etc. Open well lit space with the usual banquettes along the wall. The service is quick and the food was perfectly fine for a quick brunch without the wait. Simple as that.

Being visitors from the UK this Diner was exactly what we were looking for to have the New York breakfast experience. Happily, very friendly and attentive staff serve great food in very comfortable surroundings. I will miss having breakfast there!

The service is quick, I ordered a Snapple peach Tea and the waiter even opened it for me, even though I could do it myself. It is very luxury. I recommend this restaurant/diner to anyone that loves a great meal.

I love the service. The meal was quick and good. The service came by several time to see if I needed or wanted anything and they make great grits! Most all great service and thats what matters to me.

The food is okay, but the prices are extremely high. One soft drink ,silver dollars, bacon with eggs and a bacon with one egg was $30.00. Ridiculous!!
